Jamie's Septic Service

Great service. Arrived on time. Pumped the tank, provided a report of tank condition, and cleaned up. Did not damage any landscaping. Professional job. A+ all the way.

Ken was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He explained how the system worked and how to perform regular maintenance. He also tested every aspect of it to ensure it was 100% operational.

Jamie was super helpful over the phone to help me diagnose what turned out to be a pump issue and performed the work same day.

I called Jamie this morning after finding him here on Angie’s List. We had an emergency backup situation in the lower level of our home. The same thing happened last June and caused so much damage that our lower level had to be ripped out and remodeled. We knew we couldn’t waste any time. Jamie had a full schedule but still fit us in and came out the same day. Home emergency’s like this are always stressful but when I spoke to him on the phone, he was so personable and easy to talk with that he helped reduce the stress of it. I felt that we would be in good hands. When Jamie arrived he opened the septic covers and knew right away what the issue was. He explained how the system is setup to work, a very old septic system, and why it’s backing up and also gave easy options to help avoid this issue repeating itself. He then unclogged the pipe that was causing the issue and put all of the covers back on. Given that he didn’t need to pump the septic I asked what would we owe him for getting us back up and running? He said, “Not a thing”. I’m not sitting here praising him because he didn’t charge us. Of course that’s awesome and I appreciate it but he took the time to get here, fixed the issue, taught me a bit on how to potentially avoid these issues from happening again, and while doing it all he was super friendly. I can’t remember the last time I experienced great customer service like this. As long as I live here or have a home on septic, I’ll be his customer for all septic maintenance and any future issues.

They helped us a lot more than the people we had out a few weeks before. It was just Jamie the owner that came out. It was very clean and there was no mess at all.

We've used them twice. They've been real good. They're good. A lot of them are a lot more expensive. They are probably one of the best people we've had out here. They were very quick to respond. They were very knowledgeable. They gave me opportunities to do things that I could myself to bring down the price. They kinda had a handle on our system and what type it was. They didn't try to sell us any parts or tell us we needed to replace things, which kind of happens sometimes when you call other people out. The very first thing they want to do is upgrade you on stuff. So they were really good and knew what they were doing. The owner of the company himself came out.

Just one tech took about 2 hours to complete service. They left the area looking fine. We had to tear some steps our on the deck to get to the lid. They came and discovered the problem immediately. They fixed it and I was happy.

Jamie answered all my questions.  He did expect the lids to be uncovered but that is the norm.  As a homeowner you uncover the lids or usually pay $75 for the person to dig for them because it can take awhile to locate them and open them up.  We had uncovered the lids in preparation so we appreciated that Jamie came exactly when he was suppose to.  I don't like leaving them exposed given where they are in our yard to being punctual was important to us.  Jamie answered all my questions and even called me back to answer one.  He did exactly what we asked him to do in a professional manner and didn't mind that I wanted to ask questions because it was the first time I was present for the pumping in this house. 

I contacted Jamie to get my septic system pumped, not knowing the state it was in as I had recently moved into the home. Jamie was very professional and pulled up my as builts on the King County website and walked me through the entire system over the phone. Then when he came to my place he examined everything and took the time to explain to me in detail how my whole system worked and also explained that it would have been a waste of money for me to pump my system now as it simply didn't need it. I was somewhat determined to pump the system anyways but he insisted it was not worth it. He further inspected my filter and went out of his way to get it unclogged even though it was in a very difficult position...all for no charge! I tipped him for his time and effort of course! It is super rare to find tradesmen like Jamie who are so honest and will take the time to explain everything to you like this. I definitely recommend him and will be using him in the future!

It had been a few years since we had our septic tank pumped. We called Jamie's Septic Service based on the ratings in Angie's List and the recommendation of a neighbor. We called Jamie's on Monday and he told us he could come on Tuesday. Tuesday morning Jamie contacted us and told us that due to a problem with his pumper he was unable to come that day but rescheduled for Wednesday. Wednesday morning the power was out and trees were down everywhere due to a windstorm so he called again, rescheduling for today (Thursday). Despite more downed trees and heavy traffic, Jamie showed up promptly and completed the work. What we really appreciated was Jamie's communication with us. He contacted us promptly when there were problems and we were never left wondering what the status of our service was. The price is right on par with other septic tank companies in the area. We are very happy and would use him again.
