My dishwasher leaked unbeknownst to me and damaged my hardwood floors as well. I hadn't planned on a full kitchen remodel but it seemed to make sense since the floors were going to need to be refinished and some of the cabinets replaced. I pulled the trigger and decided to go ahead with a remodel. A good friend of mine recommended Greg Sobole. I met with him and instantly liked him. He was kind and patient explaining the process to me. He has excellent communication skills and was very punctual. I never wondered how much things would cost or when he would be there to work. This was very important to me since I work full time and have a somewhat "needy" German Shepherd named Jack. No joke, I'm hoping we have a new project soon, just so we can work with Greg. Such a breath of fresh air. He showed up on time. Spent a few minutes looking at the problem then took the existing cabinet home and reshaped it. He was fast and the quality far exceeded my expectations. Perfect!

Working with Greg could not have been easier!  Our custom, solid oak kitchen cabinets were in bad need of repair after having a traditional drop-in sink removed and an apron-front, farm-style sink put in.  Greg came out quickly and, the following week, had completed our project, including rebuilding cupboard doors.  The project turned out perfectly and I was very surprised at how reasonable his rate was!  We are big fans of Greg's work and will most definitely use him again for any future cabinet projects.

Greg is the most incredible contractor we have had the pleasure to work with. If I could rate higher than an A, I would. After remodeling two homes, we will not use anyone else for any work Greg is able to do (which seems to be just about anything). Our home office space is our favorite room in the house. His work is meticulous and despite having to cut pieces to fit, our home was always left cleaner than before he started - no sawdust! His recommendations came from years of experience as a master wood worker (he does all the construction in a home workshop) and the attention to detail, including a single piece cherry desktop, was above our expectations. The tile work in our bathroom was tedious and he recommended a few changes such as a herringbone layout on the floor as opposed to a straighter pattern which made the bathroom appear bigger. Great idea. He finds the best material available within the budget provided and provides very accurate and fair estimates. Greg will not be the least expensive but his work is well worth the money. You will never regret having him do work in your home or business. He is very much in demand though, so call ahead of when you want to get started! In addition to his craftsmanship, I have to point out that he is just a good person to have around. He was great when working around our two dogs and our son warmed up to him almost immediately.

Greg was a pleasure to work with, and we are very happy with the closet he build and installed for us.  He was very responsive over email and by phone, and though clearly busy with a number of jobs, he set reasonable expectations on timing and cost upfront.  I would (and have) recommend Greg for anyone looking for high quality custom woodwork projects, total professional.

Greg Sobole came out and took a look at our project and right away was able to suggest things and offer services that we were very happy with. Our project started in early August 2015 and finished up approximately at the end of September. Greg let us know about days he couldn't be there during this time, but otherwise he was there when promised every day. He is very experienced at this type of work, worked quickly and was able to solve issues that came up. He cleaned up at the end of each day and was very easy to talk with about our ideas or changes. We are very pleased with the result. Our new kitchen looks and functions beautifully.

I found Greg using Angie's List.  Greg was one of our favorite sub-contractors that we worked with in our kitchen remodel.  His workmanship is superb.  The new and modified cabinet fronts he created are a perfect match with our existing oak cabinets.  I am a very picky and detail-oriented person, and I was really impressed with his work.  Greg did exactly what he promised, on time.  He was extremely reliable and punctual.  He works hard and gets a lot done quickly, and his quality is outstanding.  His rates are fair and reasonable.  He provides guidance and consultation for the best way to accomplish something, factoring in the goals and cost of the various solutions.  He's very responsive by phone and email.  He is a true craftsman and professional.  I highly recommend him!

We found them on Angie's List and I thank we did. He's outstanding. We also used him at my wife's mother's house to remodel a bathroom. It was a very difficult remodeling because it was an old house that the construction was not the best in the world and he have obstacle that he had to work on around. He did a fantastic job. I like his creativity. He's super craftsman and he's also knowledgeable in all the classes of construction whether it's an electrical, plumbing or woodworking. He's the man of all skills. He's absolutely superior.

Greg is very nice and professional. His greatest asset is his workmanship. While waiting for staining of wood and doors to be done, he gives us frequent updates on the progress of his project. Finished work/product is well made and built. It is in the family room area where family mostly is gathered. We love looking at these built in cabinets and effects of the lighting that Greg installed. We are very happy and satisfied with his work. Will greatly recommend him to others.

Greg Sobole Sr. is great. He's on time, to the second. He is very knowledgeable and tidy. He can make suggestions. If you want to do something that he things, not so much, he'll give you advice. The price was fair. The people that owned my home before made a media room out of the double garage, so prior to this he put in lighted shelving for my collections and he painted the room and put in new floor boards. He remodeled the back room and did an excellent job. I would absolutely hire him again. He's my go-to guy.

Greg is a true craftsman. He was very fast and efficient. He matched the existing stain perfectly. The workmanship is superb.

He was great. The work was outstanding. He worked well within budget. He made extra effort to match existing wood in our kitchen. He did a lot of custom work. He extensively gave us advice on how to minimize the disruption to the parts of the kitchen that we wanted to leave in place. He was great at problem solving. I went back to him and had him do my mom's bathroom.

Did not have the budget for a fully new kitchen, and wanted a help with building in new features to an existing kitchen. Greg was superb. A true craftsman, and worked to match wood stains and design elements so you can't tell what was original and what was new. Budget conscious and a good communicator. Would not hesitate to recommend him. First rate!!

. I needed some bathroom carpentry work done quickly. I called several people list in Angie's but didn't get any returned calls. I called Greg late on a Friday afternoon and he came over first thing Monday morning! He looked at my project and gave me an estimate and advised me as the job progressed. I was really impressed with his speed and nice professional work. He didn't mess around and worked constantly until the job was complete He didn't waste any time what so ever and that I enjoyed. Great work!! I did help in a small way by running to HD too get needed wood and supplies. That allowed Greg to stay working on the job.

I needed a custom display unit for my media room. I called him, we made an appt to meet. He was absolutely prompt. I had a basic design, but he made suggestions, that made the job more convenient for me, even down to the finish of the paint. I changed my mind on paint color, he repainted without complaint, and did an absolutely beautiful job. We have a few things to finish (next Friday) and I am totally pleased. He's professional, and cleans the area after he's done each day. If you had a category for Aplus, I'd use it.

Our kitchen remodel took about four weeks from start to finish. Half of that time was spent waiting for cabinets and counter tops to be ready. Greg gave us a list of places to go to get ideas for cabinets, lighting, counter tops, and fixtures. We did the shopping for appliances and lighting. After we had made our choices, he ordered our new cabinets, counter tops and fixtures so we could get them at his cost. We paid the manufacturer directly when things were delivered. Greg was very patient in answering all of our questions and had very good suggestions and feedback while we made our decisions. We felt totally comfortable having him work in our home when we were at work. We were impressed with how quickly he would complete projects and can honestly say he is an expert craftsman in all that he does. We are very pleased with our "new" kitchen and would highly recommend Greg Sobole to anyone with a remodeling project, big or small.
