We hired Josiah with Gate Technologies to install a custom single swing gate for our driveway at home. He was able to take our vision, and design and build exactly what we wanted. He did all the fabrication and installation, and addressed our questions and concerns very professionally along the way, without questioning. In the world of custom gate installations, it's important to learn patience, as all providers in this space have long lead times in being able to get started. But once we were next in line, Josiah got cranking and got us an absolutely beautiful gate that works just as we envisioned. Just recently, I reached out to Josiah, as the gate electronics suddenly stopped responding. He replied within minutes and helped me do a simple reset, and it is working perfectly again. Josiah is an artist, with tons of experience, and will do everything he can to make you a happy customer with a new beautiful gate! Including a picture from when it was nearly done.

Josiah has put in 2 residential gates for us in the past 10 years. He fabricated the last one himself and the workmanship was terrific. Great help in choosing, planning and installing the gate integration system as there were long distances involved. Conscientious & pleasant to work with. Very happy with both jobs. Recommend him anytime.

I live in a gated community of almost 60 homes, and I was the "person" to call when the gates didn't work. We tried several vendors and repair time was measured in weeks not hours and very expensive. Someone suggested I call Gate Technologies. Josiah has always immediately and always cost much less than other vendors. We had a need for new battery backup units for our gates. We contacted several vendors and they wanted to replace all 4 of the operators (which were less than a year old), Josiah came up with a perfect solution that works great. The units were ordered and installed with absolutely no issues. I would highly recommend Gate Technologies and Josiah.

Josiah at Gate Technologies did a wonderful job completing many repairs for our HOA community gate. He is extremely helpful, responsive, and a nice person to work with. Gate Technologies was also the best priced among all the bids we received. Highly recommend!

(Review based on initial meeting, will add additional feedback after project is complete summer 2025) After meeting with a few other companies that I didn't particularly like, I found Gate Technologies through Google maps and booked an online appt. Josiah showed up on time and focused on asking about my wants and needs first, then sharing his experience and suggestions. He was very personable and easy to talk with, and treated me like a valued customer from the first moment. His pricing was right on what I expected, and he was happy to discuss design and material options that would be cost-effective and meet my current needs, but would still give me flexibility if I wanted to change or redesign my property in the future This was only our first meeting, but it was one of the easiest and most pleasant first experiences I've had a with a contractor. Based on the positive reviews from others, the reasonableness of everything Josiah suggested, and my own check of their registrations and everything, I'm very excited to work with them. I expect the work to be complete this summer and I'll update my review with details and/or photos when the time comes.

Josiah with Gate Technologies is an artisan, technologist and all around expert on every aspect of gate repair!! I can recommend him and his company without complaint nor reservation! Every aspect of his work, technology and and outcomes are exceptional!! We found ourselves with a very old unique 2-section, curved sliding gate which had become decrepit and and non-operative. The wrought iron gate panels themselves were graceful and made quite a fashionable statement when moving in a wide arc to allow passage. We were determined to maintain the elegance of this gate, yet update while renovating the entire system. Did I mention the one-off uniqueness of the gate system? Every piece of the moving gate infrastructure had to be replaced and updated. The new motors are so big and strong, they can seemingly pull large trees out of the ground. The visitor access panel is state of the art, hardened touch screen technologies which offer a whole array of user friendly ways to mange the gate access. But perhaps to me, the most amazing thing Josiah did was to custom manufacture a new hardened steel v-runner for the new upgraded wheels to roll upon. This was no Small Feat since it had to be made by hand and a trained eye. I was just WOWED by the quality of work, implementation and best-in-class components. The value delivered far outweighs the cost of the work and my pucker-factor is much relieved for having engaged Josiah on addressing this important community asset. To add to all of this, we had a minor warranty issue just recently popup & Josiah was there the next morning and made it all good in 10 minutes! Josiah's high quality work ethic seems of a bygone era, yet shines through in the outstanding outcomes which he delivered for this customer! So many thanks from myself and the members of my HOA!!
