Horrible experience. They arrived late and then disappeared for about 1 1/2 hours with my stuff in the truck. I would never refer them to anyone I know. They broke most of my furniture and didn't replace. They would not take my calls to get it replaced.

My camera disappeared during the move. I inquired about this and the company thought I was accusing them of stealing the camera All I know is my camera was not found after they moved it. Also they did not properly move the contents of my freezer and refridgerator, luckily I able to salvage most of these items. I would not reccomend this company. Through email they said they would pay me $100 back for the camera, but they never did pay me back.

They were fabulous. My closing kept being delayed and I called on Saturday asking for a Sunday or Monday move. Most others didn't even call me back John did and said he had a cancellation. Damon, Jarrod and Eric showed up and worked extremely hard to get me moved in 7.5 hours. I had heavy furniture and we had access issues. It was not an easy move. They were totally awesome. They also set up the beds for me. They had incredible attitudes. I will hire them again for other projects.

John was very easy to schedule the job with and flexible on timing. I spoke to him on Friday afternoon and needed help unloading a truck the following Sunday afternoon. He said it would be a minimum of 3 hrs charge but forgot to mention the travel time charge. Perhaps he thought that he did, as we all make mistakes, but I spoke with him a couple of times to finalize plans and it was not mentioned. My husband helped the movers who were noticeably tired after moving people all day. It was late in the afternoon and my husband had driven from Portland to Seattle with the moving truck. When he called John to clarify the charges at the end of the job he did not receive the best level of professionalism over the phone which is why the rating was a C in professionalism and Overall score. It's unfortunate we cannot recommend this company. The pricing was cheaper than other companies called and we got what we paid for.

It went wonderfully. I have old Oak furniture that was very heavy and awkward. They made sure to prepare it for the move carefully and were able to get it up my stairs. I was very impressed with that. I had dreaded my move, but I thought they did great. They worked very quickly and cleanly. I also thought that they were very friendly and careful. Finally, I do not remember the price right now, but I remember it was very reasonable.

I was pleased to find a local company and they were willing to do a small job. They were very professional. I couldn't have moved these items myself.

In on time. Went to work immediately and kept me notified of obstacles along the way.

They were perfect. They wrapped and packed things with expertise so they would fit into a very small space. They were on time and very professional. I would recommend them.

Never again, rude obnoxious drivers/delivery and dispatch, left truck blocking neighbor's high-rise building driveway, once they arrived late ar 4:30 pm, refused to move. When we called dispatch to report multiple com
plaints from people trapped, the dispatch operator said its and quot;not our problemand quot; and refused to contact the driver. When the manager of the other building manager called the dispatch operator, and the operator began cursing at him and hung up. In our opinion they get a D- for customer service and lack professionalism. I would never refer or reccommend Family and Friends moving in the Puget Sound area and for sure not in Seattle.

I got no surprises; they performed exactly as expected. They put moving blankets on the furniture to protect it. They removed my sliding patio doors to make more space, and then reinstalled them. Had a little trouble with the weather strips on the doors, but those have always been a pain. One strip remains slightly damaged, but I'm not upset. I will replace it later.
I was completely satisfied with the work they did.

It went well overall. They helped me move a transaxle from a Car Dealer parts department to a storage unit I'm renting. There was a little confusion about the pickup place as they'd gone to the Dealer's Sales Department instead of their parts department, but that was resolved quickly enough.

This company was great! They were on time, professional and friendly, and the price was fair and reasonable. The two guys who moved my furniture, Trevor and David were fast and efficient, and took great care with my table, which is an antique and special to me.
I would recommend this company. I called several movers, all of whom had a four hour minimum charge. Friends and Family Moving and Storage Inc had only a two hour minimum. Well worth the money spent.

They worked at a steady pace. We were amazed that there weren't any dings in the stair wells. They were very careful with our belongings.

The condominium I was moving to had limited timeframe restrictions as to when the freight elevator could be used for moving in. Friends and Family was cooperative in working around those restrtictions. The arrived at my house on time and accurately timed the move so that their truck was packed to arrive at the condo at the appropriate time. They unassembled the piano and protectively wrapped its parts for the move into their truck. Everything arrived in good shape. The staff was friendly and pleasant to deal with. I was pleased with the experience.

I had arraigned for movers to come at 8 AM on the 30th of May two weeks ahead of time not realizing it was a holiday. I asked about minimum charges and was told a two hour minimum was standard for weekdays, which was no problem for me. The truck arrived on time and after a brief walk through they got on it. They were fast and professional, my entire move took 3 1/2 hours! nothing was broken and after a brief question on a four hour minimum I was charged for 3 1/2 hours (the men got a good tip anyway...). Great crew, I'd use them again.

They have always been excellent. We have used them four or five times. They have excellent service.

This company was very professional from start to finish. Of the many companies I called they were the only ones to answer directly rather than voicemail. They scheduled the work on the morning of the day I requested and called the day before to confirm. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 9 a.m. and were at my door at 7:55. They moved everything I needed them to move within a half hour. While not a lot, I had three chairs, a credenza, a computer desk, a file cabinet, five file boxes and another five or more boxes of books and such. I had paintings and lamps. I had two stops to offload, one at my house and one at Goodwill. They were courteous, efficient, and professional. They delivered things to my house and put them in two different storage locations and then went to Goodwill. The whole move took about an hour and a half. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and would use them again myself if the need arose. The only thing that was not clear was the time element as they charged portal to portal and I did not know how long that would be before hiring them. But as they were so efficient and got the move done even faster than I had thought in my shortest estimate, I think the price was fair.

Hired Friends and Family Moving to move two items from a relative's home in Edmonds to my home in Tacoma. Items moved were large wall wardrobe / entertainment center and upright piano. Told the movers in adance that these were the only two item being moved. Appt was at 10:00, movers showed up at 11:05; called dispatcher once and was told the movers "were on their way"; no explanation of when they would actually arrive. Piano was on a dolly, being pushed through a doorway. Movers were careless, caught the leg of the piano against the doorway and broke it right off. This was a 4 year old piano, never actually played; not old or broken, or pieces falling off. This piano was perfect until these movers broke the leg off. Piano was built in such a way that that the leg cannot be replaced; friends and family want to glue the leg back on and call it good. Two piano repair shops cannot replace the leg and adivse me that if glued, the leg will not support the piano weight for long. The piano is essentially shot. After breaking the piano the moving manager avoided my calls for 4 complete days before deciding to call me back. Since we elected "basic" insurance they are refusing to pay more than 60 cents a pound, or $240 dollars for any and all repairs. After breaking the leg, the moving company charged me $450, versus the original estimate of $330 with no explanation for larger charges.

I was able to schedule something very quickly. They were very prompt, efficient and professional. This was a good experience. The cost was what I expected.
