This was a very difficult leak to trace. I had earlier hired a handyman and after 2 attempts, I still had the leak. The initial estimator examined the leak situation and recommended a few other repairs, such as the ridge vent replacement, which I knew was not in good shape.
They did the leak repair and part to the ridge vent replacement. I pointed out to the workers that they were supposed to replace a cross-vent as well as the 'frontand quot; vent, but their work statement clearly stated the front vent. Also, a few days after the repair, we had a heavy rain and a small leak was still apparent. I emailed the sales manager, and within hours, a crew was out installing the remainder of the ridge vents and re-did the repair of a minor leak down the the mortar in the corner if the chimney, which was very hard to trace.
Over all, great service, the misunderstanding of the the work statement was understandable and everything was immediately corrected.

The sales rep was very professional. I had already selected a different company and could not get them to return my calls in regards to scheduling and material choices. So glad I switched to Fields. Better price and better people. We were in constant communication about materials and the schedule. Scott always responded quickly to calls and emails. The crew showed up on time and were very experienced and professional. The work they did in the time they had could not have been better. Fields makes a point to use metal flashing in the valleys and metal trim around the ends of the gables and above the gutters. A lot of other companies did not want to bother with those details. They may or may not be essential, but I am glad they are there.
Overall, very happy with the quality of work and the price I paid. Would STRONGLY recommend to anyone needing roofing work.

We had a snow storm that turned to an ice storm in January of this year. I called Steve Hogan at Field's, who had given us a quote in the fall for other work, and he came out the same day. He had to go up a 40-foot ladder to get to the roof where we were suffering a leak. Roof drebris and ice had blocked the gutter down spout and melting ice/snow had accumulated and breached the torch down. Steve unblocked the gutter and got the accumulated water flowing. Then he checked all the other gutters to make sure they were all flowing. The next day his crew came out to make sure there were no other leaks on the roof. Since that time Steve came out again, for free, to check the roof.

FIELD ROOFS HAD EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP. THEY LIVED UP TO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. IF SOMEONE NEEDS A NEW ROOF... THESE ARE THE GUYS TO GET FOR GOOD SERVICE.
