East Hill Heating & Cooling

We have been using East Hill Heating & Cooling for close to 20 years now. First, in our Federal Way home and then when we moved to our Auburn home. They have repaired both furnace and hot water tanks over the years and also replaced them when needed. ( each home had different issues ). They have also installed digital thermostats in each home when we asked them to do so. Our new home had some issues underneath that we were unaware of when we bought it. It is a manufactured home. Doug crawled underneath, made the repairs and rewrapped all of the duct work to fix the problem. They have always fit us into their swamped schedule and never suggest replacing, when repairing is a better and more economical option. We trust them completely! I am writing this today because we noticed a leak this morning in our hot water tank. It is the old, original one. Christy called Doug and he drove by our place on his way to his originally planned job. Their customer service is AMAZING and I do not look forward to the day they finally retire.

We were pleased with both the work and the customer service. We are happy to say we are seeing savings in our utility bills with the new energy efficient equipment.

Great. Best price out of 4 estimates. Arrived on time for installation, finished the same day and did a good job of cleaning up. They even hauled away an old water heater that had nothing to do with this job.

They are really stellar. They did a fantastic job. The owner even came out on Labor Day. They had made an appointment with us and we realized that they made it on Labor Day. We thought they wouldn't come and it will probably be the next day or something. No he came at the right time right on Labor Day. We commented on that and he said they missed that when his wife made the appointment but we made the appointment so we honor that. He did a really great job and his prices were really reasonable and again I got a bunch of quotes. One of the things that I really liked about him is that he noticed there was something that wasn't, I guess it was the builder that did it, and it wasn't done correctly. So he did something in his shop and he came back the next day and put something on and corrected the problem and didn't charge us for that. That was his own time the following day and he didn't charge us for that. All of his reviews were stellar and that's what caught my eye. He fixed something on top of the furnace and he said he just didn't like things that weren't done correctly so that's just his work ethic.

I use East Hill Heating & Cooling for my service.  They were here in January of 2017.  They replaced the motor. It was $500 or $600.  It was excellent, he's the best.  He came out after hours.  He worked all day, he came out past his working hours.  I would tell others he is very honest and very helpful.  He's his own company and you don't have to go through a bunch of stuff.  He does all the work and doesn't farm it out.  He cleans up great after his work is completed.  He's just a real guy.

Excellent! Christy in the office kept me informed and was prompt in answering my questions. The technician, Doug, knew exactly what should be done and even enhanced the function for the whole house for year around comfort.

Very smooth. Doug was accommodating and helpful. They were already super booked up but made time to help us out. When we thought we had the problem fixed but it returned later that day, they came back out first thing in the morning to set things right. We needed a new igniter and a new control board for a furnace from 1994.

I called East Hill Heating and Cooling and left a message thinking they might be out until the 26th. At 5:30 I got a call from Doug who came out to our house, diagnosed a broken ignitor, and replaced it with a part he had on his truck getting our gas furnace up and running again.

Anytime I have ever needed anything done with my furnace, I go to them.

Doug was very professional. I was told that it did not need to be replaced. He told me to save my money. He was in and out in 5 minutes and there was no charge.

From the first phone call to the finished product, I absolutely loved my experience with this company! The crew was friendly and hard working. I loved how friendly they were to my kids and pets. It was nice to get a clear quote for the work I wanted done, and NOT be talked into a product that would cost a lot more money. I will sure use this company to service my furnace and AC when needed.

I have used East Hill on multiple occasions, each time with increasingly bigger complexity.  Every time, on every level, Doug has done outstanding work.  I will continue to use their services as need exists.

Called and requested a service appointment. Communication great. Cleared problem the night they came out.

Came same day I called even though it was near 6:00 PM.  Furnace wouldn't start.  Checked igniter and found a loose connection.  Reconnected and tested the furnace.  Spent maybe 20 minutes plus travel.  Advised that the igniter wasn't the standard part but should continue to work for some time.  Said "No charge" and left. 

I'll certainly call him back when I next need him.

Very professional; owner installed the tank.  Didn't take long at all.  Would use East Hill again.
