Description of Work: The estimate was reasonable and the roof repair was completed in a timely manner to my satisfaction. Bottom line--the roof is no longer leaking. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area in good condition. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: Replaced an 18 year old leaking roof. Chet's were prompt, very professional and completed the job expeditiously. I was very impressed with how they took care of our yard and cleaned up when the job was completed. We liked them so much, we are having Chet's add gutters to our home. We will have them do any future work needed on our home that they manage. Chet's is a class act that delivers exactly what they contract with you.

Description of Work: They chets roofing did a great job although they were trying to sell stuff that I don't need.

Description of Work: Remove existing rock roof and replace with torchdown. Initial appointment was delayed due to thunderstorms (understandable). The work was completed in about 4 days. Whenever I was outside they warned to be careful and watch where stepping. They cleaned up daily and swept for roofing nails. We did a walk around afterwards and they addressed the items I noticed. All were minor repairs to soffits and fascia. A couple of days after paying the invoice, I noticed an issue with out kitchen exhaust. They came out within a couple of hours of the call and make a correction under labor warranty. Two months later, no issues with the fall wind and rain. Happy with the work and recommend them.

Description of Work: Chet's did a tear of and installed a new composition roof on my rambler. They did a great clean up job and completed the work in one day. I gave them a "B" in punctuality because they showed up a day early! All in all this was a good experience and I would recommend them.

Description of Work: I hired Chet's to replace my roof and gutters. The crew showed up and never introduced themselves and started ripping my roof off. They left nails all over the property along with other trash and a cigarette butt in the driveway. Part of the contract spelled out that they would repair any rotten wood. After completing the roof, we discover a rotten eve that needed to be completely replaced. They had to come back out and rip off a portion on the roof and replace the wood. The Forman claims that he had someone else check the spot..isn't that his job? How did they miss it? We had asked them to hold off on the gutters as we needed our house to get painted first. We came home to find white gutters hung AFTER we requested brown. The house painting had not started. I requested they remove the gutters so the painters could start. They were not sure if they could get someone out to remove them. Someone did show up, but did not complete the job and left a pile of gutters in our side yard which were eventually picked up. The company does not know how to communicate from start time of projects to follow up on details per contracts. The foreman did not follow the details on the contract which lead to a second tear off of a portion of the roof and a redo. Bottom line.. I would not hire them again. They did give me a $250.00 discount, but after all the headaches they should have given me a much larger discount. I hope the roof lasts as long as they say it will. I paid for a 50 year life shingle..we will see.

Description of Work: I had a roof repair and used Angie's List to find a company that could do it. They were quick in setting up a "free" estimate but they told me that I would not need to be there for the estimate. The estimated called me when he arrived at my house since I wasn't there and I needed to be. He went on to tell me that if he had to come back they would have to charge me extra to get a "free" estimate. I went ahead and just scheduled the repair and took a day off of work. They called me that day to tell me they couldn't come out until the next day. I told them that wasn't acceptable to me since I had already taken the day off. They did make arrangements and did come out that day. Larry was very nice and punctual. So far I have no complaints about the work done. They charged me $275 for the replacement of a backroom vent that had cracked around the edges. I was very grateful it was done since I have a 2 story house!

Description of Work: New roof, new gutters, replaced damaged interior wallboard. My roof was a difficult roof to fix, they knew what they were doing and were willing to work hard to do it. I'm happy I used them.

Description of Work: Sent me an email saying they would contact me that day. Waited all day no contact made. When I told them I was not pleased and hired someone else they said they did not contact me because of an emergency.

Description of Work: Chet's came out did an estimated and did the work on time. Very easy to deal with via email and phone. They did a simple reroof on our garage and it was the best price and just what we needed to sell our house

Description of Work: Chet's Roofing came on May 23. I had already had an estimate from another company, and that person had shown me pictures he said he'd just taken of water staining the rafters around my chimney. Yury, from Chet's, did not go inside, but showed me pictures from the roof of a failing repair around the chimney. He gave me estimates that were quite a bit better than those from the other company for replacement as well as an estimate for a repair, and I appreciated his low-pressure and straightforward manner.
