This project went so smoothly from the first phone call to clean up at the end of the job. They provided "old school" quality work. Andrew is an excellent communicator and staff was punctual, polite and very good at their jobs. I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend this business!

I am very happy with the work done by Brick by Brick Masonry. Andrew and his assistant Armondo were very professional and the work they did was excellent quality. Our 80yr old home looks almost like new.

Andrew responded quickly to my request for a bid and scheduled the job for a time that was mutually convenient. On the scheduled date, Armando and Andrew arrived in the morning and completed the job in one day. Andrew came back on the following Monday and cleaned the brick surfaces and made sure that I was satisfied with the results. The job was completed in a timely manner at the agreed upon price. Both Armando and Andrew are very personable and conscientious individuals and I would not hesitate to call them again for another masonry job, if necessary.

Brick by Brick did a great job. It was a month long project, and they kept the workplace neat and were considerate in keeping the yard gate closed for our tenant's dog. We are an out of state owner and arranged this project via phone, and communication was excellent with both Andrew and his office staff. Would highly recommend Brick by Brick.

I met with and took 9 different bids before I decided on Brick By Brick.
I have a 3 flu chimney all surrounded by brick up in the middle of a high pitched roof.
Most bids were from various chimney experts and sweeps. Bids were all over the board.
Discussions with these other bids were varied in the work that needed to be done.
Brick By Brick is a mason. A specialist in brick and stone.
The bid was fair in price and the work was excellent.
Andrew was very customer friendly and offered professional advice for care of the chimney.
After two months, his tuck point job is flawless and exactly what I wanted.
My advice- Beware of chimney sweep companies if you need brick work done. Use a professional mason.

Andrew came to my house to give me a free estimate and told me how I could have the chimney fixed up without the cost of rebuilding it entirely. The chimney now looks great and  I can again  have a fire in my fireplace (see below). Previously, another mason came out and told me nothing except that it would cost about 12k to rebuild the whole chimney and I owed him $125 for a worthless cleaning  (because the chimney liner was cracked and it was unsafe to have a fire). Andrew saved me a ton of money by first noting that the 50-year-old chimney was basically sound in the main and by offering a solution short of a total rebuild. Once Andrew started work, he was on my chimney every working day until he was done (I know this because I greeted him every day). I'm no mason, but it's clear Andrew takes pride in doing good work.  Finally, Andrew is an absolute joy to deal with. He explains his work and he seemed genuinely happy and optimistic every time I saw him. No grumpy contractor is he.

Andrew did a great job doing the brickwork on our front porch remodel project. I had a vision in my head as to what I wanted done, and Andrew was able to translate that into a finished project. He was flexible, listened to my ideas, and was able to throw in some of his own suggestions. The end result is something that we are very happy with.
Andrew helped us to pick the appropriate materials (brick type and color) and then started the job. Once started, he worked steadily to progress the work - things were slowed a few days due to cold weather, but that's part of the risk we took with doing a job like this in December. Once the brickwork was complete, Andrew finished the columns by pouring concrete caps in place to top them. He came back a couple of times to clean and acid wash the brick to make sure that there was no white leeching onto the brick face.
Andrew is very personable and easy to work with. He takes pride in his work and makes sure that the customer is happy. communicates well and he returned calls and texts quickly whenever I needed to reach him.

Andrew obviously knew what he was doing. I roughly knew what I wanted and he made several suggestions to improve the chimneys. The work was done well and on time.

Andrew of brick by brick masonry came over and completed the job in one day. He brought the 4 foot chiminy to 2 feet by removing all the old brick and rebuilding it to code. He used the existing bricks i i had since they no longer make these bricks. He re-mortered and put a cap on it. He did a awesome job and cleaned up everything afterword.

Andrew was on time to bid the job, which he did quickly and professionally. He emailed me the bid that evening. We discussed his schedule and mine and set a date to start the work. Unfortunately due to weather he was delayed on another job. He called me and we discussed an alternative start date. I have been working with a lot of construction people lately and this type of communication is the exception not the rule and it was welcome. He started on the set date and worked effieciently and discussed the progress if asked. He also pointed out some problem areas in other parts of our house and helped us form a plan for future masonry work. To speak to his honest and professional approach Andrew originally quoted to replace some metal barriers above two windows but found they were in good shape when he exposed them. In an honest manner he informed me of this and lowered his price accordingly. Where others may have done it anyway and charged for it. This job took about a week and looks amazing. Andrew is very professional and friendly and communicates his timeline and the work to be done very accurately. He is easy to reach if you have concerns or questions and is eager to make the project a positive experience. I already plan on having him do more work at my house and have refered him, with confidence, to family members and neighbors. If you need masonry work done, Brick by Brick Masonry is an excellent choice.

After discovering a very large bee's nest inside our chimney and getting rid of it, we discovered that the chimney on our 80 year old house needed some work.
We opted to go with Andrew, because of his attention to detail and obvious love of his work.
Since he is a one man shop we did have to wait until another job was finished, but it was worth the wait!
He showed up as scheduled, worked hard every day he was here and cleaned up better than what the space looked like when
he got here... We live in Seattle where the houses are close together and he made sure to clean up anything that impacted our
next door neighbor too.
We are very pleased with how our chimneys looks and plan to have him back to do some other work.
Highly recommend him if you want a quality, conscientious worker to do your job.

Andrew Kirk is a one-man business. I have a brick facing on the chimney. He rebuilt the firebox and floor of the fireplace for me, and did a beautiful job. Then he did something on top with the cap so the fireplace drew better. The other project was a brick patio with a herringbone pattern and he did a great job of that.

Excellent job. We have now scheduled Andrew to do the north side of the house. Not only was the jobsite cleaned up every day, he offered to paint part of the eaves while his scaffolding was in place. Highly recommend him to anyone that wants a quality job at an affordable price.
