Paul came highly recommend from a neighbor that knew him personally. One comment that particularly impressed me was that Paul was one of those guys that personally stood behind his work. I was in dire need of a contractor to build a deck as my old deck was literally falling off my house and another contractor bailed on me because the job was “too difficult”. Having worked with several other contractors in the past, I found Paul to be very accommodating. He listened carefully to every specific detail I wanted, offered excellent recommendations where appropriate, and approached any and all issues that came up with honesty and integrity. I found his pricing to be very fair and reasonable and he always produced documentation to back it up. Paul was very conscientious about minimizing any inconvenience and always left the job site clean and tidy. I was so impressed with the work Paul was doing that I decided to add a pergola as well. I absolutely LOVE the end result and my deck is beautiful! I cannot say enough about the quality of Paul’s workmanship and his professionalism. He has worked on other projects in my home and I will continue to hire him. But now, I have to compete for his time with my neighbors as they have seen his work and are hiring him as well. I highly recommend him and it is true, he does stand behind his work!!
Description of Work: I hired Paul to build a custom deck according to specifications and design I provided. The job also involved demolition and removal of old deck, custom concrete forms (using sonotubes), removing old retaining wall built with railroad ties and replacing with concrete wall. Specific design requirements included building two distinct levels, using composite materials, picture framing the entire deck, installing custom railing, bench, and pergola, installing and wiring riser and post lights.
