ACTION COURIER SERVICES INC

Awful. The tracking information indicated delivery by May 2. On April 30th at 11 am this package was received at the local trucking terminal. At that point Action should have called to schedule delivery with me. I waited 26 hours and then called Seko who put me in touch with Action. First available appointment was noon-4pm on Friday so I took it. REALLY? It only took 4 days to get across the entire country and you can't get it 15 miles to me for 4 days? Ridiculous. Nonetheless, I sat here starting at noon on Friday and did not leave my house or the phone. Skipped going for lunch. No show. At 5 pm I called Seko and was told the truck was in Monroe (30 minutes from here). So I sat here and did nothing on Friday night while my kids went off to gymnastics and such. Ate dinner at home. At 8 pm I called Seko again and was told I was the next delivery (they checked with Action each time I called). Still nothing. At 9:45 pm I called Seko again. After a much longer hold I was told 15 minutes. My kids have gone to bed by now of course. Dog will bark of course. So I started writing this. 10:25 pm Action shows up. The drivers who brought it to me were pleasant and they had nothing to do with the delays - happy to get overtime I suppose. How much worse customer service is there? Not a single call. No effort to schedule at all. No effort to update on delays at all. Wasted my entire Friday afternoon and night. NOT A SINGLE EFFORT TO COMMUNICATE!!!!! If it hadn't shown up while I was writing this I was just going to refuse delivery and have it sent back. What compensation do I get for my wasted time and awful customer service experience? I still need to go to the store - and of course they are closed now at 10:45 pm on a Friday night.
