I had trouble getting bids through AngiesList messaging system so I decided to start calling contractors. Darryl answered and came within the hour and gave me a very competitive bid on a handshake. While he was here he offered to haul some concrete landscaping debris next to the garage. He and his crew did the work in two consecutive evenings rather than one day that was planned which was fine with us. Did a great job and clean up was fantastic including the neighbor's yard where he had to drop the garage roof. Good guys, a pleasure to work with them. I gave them all "A"s

The team worked pretty much monstop. They arrived 20 minutes early. They always asked if they were in doubt about whether to remove something. A great friendly group of guys. They had the best bid and were 200 under the next.

AAA responded immediately to my request and was on time. He removed large items from 3 different places on the property. He and his partner were very amiable and nice to deal with. Price wise I have nothing to compare the cost to but it didn't seem out of line considering he would have to pay the landfill costs and wages for his team. I would use them again.

Darrel did a great job. We had a number of other contractors come out and bid on the job and most were not interested (too small of a job). Darrel returned our call immediately, he came by the same day to give us a quote and did the work 5 days later. He was creative in figuring out an approach to get the job done. He is a very hard working gentleman who was pleasant to have around for a few hours! We will definitely hire him again.

It took Darryl and his crew just over 3 hours to demo, haul away, and clean up the mess. Darryl was great at managing the job and his crew were all hard working professionals. Darryl came one day to look at the job and scheduled the work for 2 days later. Could not have gone better.

Crew communicated a slight delay of arrival. When they arrived they took the entire, large over built structure apart and cleaned all debris, hauled away in an impressive two hours! The entire crew was very respectful and easy to have around, I could tell by how they communicated with each other through out the project that they were very knowledgeable about how to carefully take this pergola off of our house without any damage or even a trace of their work! Owner Darryl was very easy to work with on scheduling, phone and text. Very professional crew will hire again in the future.

I called Darryl last Saturday, and he showed up that afternoon to quote on the job. He was accompanied by three colleagues - Sean, Alfred and Myron. We agreed on price, inclusive of dump fees (which were considerable, I'm sure) and he gave me a choice of getting started and finishing on Tuesday, or coming Tuesday for the whole job. We opted for starting right away, and I was stunned at how quickly and diligently they worked in the humidity and heat. When they left all that remained standing was a roof, floor and supporting posts. They came back Tuesday and finished pulling it down, leaving the site clean without a single scrap of wood or trash remaining. They aren't just capable and hardworking, they're incredibly nice fellows. I recommend them highly.

Darryl and team did a great job! Really happy with their work. Called Darryl night before, he came out following morning and completed job the same day. Hauled off all the old concrete. I recommend him for sure - he's very responsive!

Darryl is a professional. He was great to work with. When I called with questions, he scheduled a same day appointment, took about 1 hour. Cleaned and removed everything I asked, if he was not sure Darryl would ask. Customer service outstanding. I would use his service again. Thanks Darrly.

Everything went fine.  As noted by others, Darryl is a polite and professional individual.  However, it is best to contact Darryl by phone as he is not accustomed to e-mail.

I thought the reviews here might be fake but I'm going to write an awesome one, too. Darryl and (darn I already forgot his name) just left. This was the trifecta of good contractor experiences: He picked up when I called on a Sunday, came over right away, offered me a WAY better price than another estimate I'd gotten (~$2000), and offered to do the work the very next day. Two man team arrived at 2:30pm; they were due closer to noon but got held up at another job, and Darryl was very communicative regarding the delay. The job turned out to be bigger than we thought; the concrete had been poured on unlevel ground and was 4in deep in some places and 6in deep in others. Plus there was some weird rebar that Darryl managed to cut through with a hacksaw I loaned him. Impressive. I loaned them an extension cord too. I didn't have to be home but it helped things go a bit faster cuz I could just lend them equipment. They left at 5:30pm. I was impressed with their hard work and dedication to finishing it today even though it was getting dark pretty rapidly. Oh, and they also took away the last bit of pressure treated wood from our DIY deck demo which saved us a $30 trip to the transfer station.
We renegotiated the cost halfway through when the job turned out to be more difficult - from $450 to $600 which was still an awesome price. I'm a youngish woman and had to put on my big girl pants to negotiate with the contractor but it turned out not to be a big deal because Darryl was nothing but respectful and friendly.
I'm a bad angies lister because I rarely write reviews but I had to write this one. It's so ***** hard to find contractors willing to work on smaller projects, or to do it in any kind of a hurry, or at a reasonable price. I feel almost bad, at this point, asking for estimates on what I know is "only" a $1000 job, you know?  I would definitely hire AAA again. I gave them $660 though the price was $600.

This may be the best experience I've had with a contractor.
These are busy times in Seattle, but Darryl worked me into his schedule and (fortunately for me) showed up the same day I called. Darryl and his crew tackled a very tough demolition job and hauled away all of the concrete debris in a day. The job would have taken anybody else two days. I know this, because I got quotes.
You can't go wrong with this company.

Darryl is amazing. Extremely professional and polite, very fast, and his crew left the work area spotless - quite impressive for a basement demolition job. When a moving crew hired by the person who took my piano failed to move it out of the basement, Darryl rescued them with his expertise. Can't recommend highly enough.

Bid given was accepted on the afternoon of the 24th and the site was prepared for work the next day.
A crew of three were out the next day and completed the work before 5PM.

Darryl is an honest guy who stands by his word. The first day was exhausting for his crew as they ripped through a big chunk of the work. The second day they came back a man down and still kept at it. Because the job was bigger than either of us anticipated, and they were eating a lot of costs at the dump in fees, we negotiated slightly more money, which was fair. The work was grueling, but they did a great job and got it done.
We'll happily have them back again for future visits as we continue to remodel the house.

Darryl and crew were prompt, arrived at the specified time, worked throughout the afternoon and did the job negotiated. They spent extra time cleaning up the site after the demolition and ensuring satisfaction of the owner. Price was fair, work was at quality expected, and the crew worked hard, without wasting time or doing anything non-standard.

The site was an 800 Sq Ft deck that had to have the fascia and top decking removed. They loaded the dumpster, kept the site clean, worked through the heat. The only ask was for cold, clean water, some lunch, and time to dump the truck from debris from a previous job. Very satisfied with this service, and would use this crew/service again any time.

It was challenging to coordinate the service with Darrel via the phone. We had to be persistent, then he showed up. Performed the service as expected.

He was prompt and got the job done in less than a half hour. I was so pleased that I asked him if he could demo a set of concrete steps, as well as, the steps and concrete that goes down to my basement. He gave me a bid that was lower than another bid I received. He Knocked the job out in a day and a half. He is punctual and professional. I was very pleased with his work.
