STAY AWAY FROM A2B MOVING AND STORAGE. I am going to post about this company on every single place online I can to warn others. They cannot do a thing about it as everything I'm saying is the truth and can be easily proven. This company is not to be trusted. We stored with them and lost over $300K of equipment after paying their inflated pricing. We paid them IN FULL and they denied us access to our equipment. We were selling our company to an attorney in Oregon and they wouldn't let us see our equipment. They wanted to send us pictures but they stored our equipment in a trailer OUTSIDE and we believe our equipment, CNC wire benders, were damaged. When we first stored our equipment with them they quoted $400, and that's after they came out to physically see what we had to store with them. Immediately after they received it, they raised the price to $600. Then they raised the price to $700 and eventually they raised the price to over $1,200. Read the reviews about this sham of a company. I've talked to a few people who want to sue them. I have talked to attorney who has told me we have a case but we have decided not to pursue it because it would take about a hundred thousand to get to arbitration and I doubt these people have assets worth while.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], your items are STILL in our warehouse and you are able to pick them up as soon as you bring your account current. Over the years, there were several months of non-payment and late fees and like any storage facility a customer is denied access when their account is in default status. We would be more than happy to release your equipment to you at any time. Please reach out to our bookkeeper Joselyn to make payment arrangements."

Just had another wonderful experience with A2B! They delivered my new hutch and dining table to my house, took everything out of the packaging and placed it where I wanted. Will always recommend them to anyone :)

This is by far the worst moving company in history. They not only far, far exceeded their original quote, they also lost several of my items and broke several more, but they would not pay for any replacements, despite the insurance coverage I signed up for, filing a dispute with my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau. The person in charge, Laurene, is a total bully and completely dishonest. Avoid!
Response from A2B Moving
"Ms. [Member Name Removed] is not completely truthful in her review. We were within our quotes on both of her moves. (Move in to storage and move out of storage) Yes, she did have a lost item and her claim is still in processing and she will be compensated according to the valuation she opted for. I also do not appreciate being called a bully, especially when Ms. [Member Name Removed] has called and sworn at our office staff, left threatening messages, called my workers idiots, and just has been a very unpleasant person to deal with."

Called A2B Moving on 9/17 to arrange 9/20 move. Owner's wife Loreen estimated cost would be $360 for 4 hours based on rate of $90/hr for 2 men, including use of their 26’ truck; she said no charges for mileage, fuel, or travel time (from their office) as we were considered a "local" area move. Two fellows, including owner Chris Hood, arrived on time and started loading truck, but it was only a 20-footer rather than promised 26-footer. When truck was full they drove it 2 blocks to the apartment to unload. They started unloading ok, but I immediately wondered why only the owner brought things up while the helper just stayed with the truck; also on many trips upstairs (via elevator) owner seemed to bring less than he could, whether hand carried or by dolly. With the 2nd truckful they were even slower, and then owner started putting things anywhere (including in middle of living room) despite each box being clearly marked what room it should be put in -- I said something a few times and then gave up. While putting a large pine dresser into the apartment Mr. Hood carelessly let a piece of wood from it fall onto the apartment wall, nicking a piece of plaster out of the wall! When I expressed unhappiness about that, he said "Oh, my wife Loreen fixes these all the time for us, she'll come fix it and it won't even be detectable." When they finally finished it had taken almost 7 hours instead of 4. When Mr. Hood filled in the bill I noticed he wrote down 8 hours -- I asked why, he said the extra hour was for 30minutes drive each way from his office. I said his wife told me they don't charge for local moves. He acted surprised, then called her, and she confirmed what I said so he took that off. I asked him to write on the receipt that the wall nick would be fixed and he did. I asked when his wife would come do it and he said she'd contact me "soon". I then paid the bill for 7 hours, though if they'd brought a 26-foot truck as promised and had not moved so slowly it would probably have only been 5.5 - 6 hours at the most. ** After not hearing for 2 weeks from his wife re the touch-up job, I phoned on 10/3 and told her what her husband had promised. She then set an appointment to come do it on 10/5 at 3:30pm. We were busy that day but came home early so as not to miss the appointment. She never showed. I phoned her at 3:50pm, and she didn't answer. I left a message reminding of our appointment and asking her to call me, giving our number again. She never called back, and I never heard further from them. ** I would NEVER suggest anyone use this company -- for many reasons, including their not providing the truck size promised, being slow and taking so much longer to move things, trying to overcharge for travel after telling me it would not be charged, and for being untrustworthy about fixing damage they carelessly caused and promised to promptly fix.

The experience as been great overall. They were really great with handling my stuff. They packed it really well and did not break anything. They also put down floor coverings to minimize dirt and traffic on the carpet. They were very efficient and finished a two bedroom apartment in about 8 hours. There were 3 movers and each one was really nice and polite. I have been using them to store my stuff now for about 9 months and so far I have not had any reports of issues. The monthly fee has been really reasonable, $125.00 a month. I will update this posting once I have them deliver my stuff in a few months.
