L & L Painting

Surpassed expectations. Painting crew was fast, courteous, and skilled. Finished ahead of schedule. Also, we added work to the scope and the added cost was more than fair. We have used L&L in the past and certainly will again. Vern (owner) was wonderful.

Vern was prompt, personable, and professional, as were his entire crew. The price was reasonable. He gave us a realistic time frame for job completion, and fulfilled his promises. There was a lot of repair to do before painting, and the guys did that work as well as they did the painting. I was especially pleased with how careful they were not to damage any of my flowers or other plants near the house. We are thrilled with the results. L & L has done work for several friends, too, and all sing the praises of Vern and his crew.

Well - The house looks good. Changes from the original bid were handled well.

Vern, was on the spot and came the same day (11-01-2016) for an estimate. I was surprised when I asked, "This price is plus the paint?" and he said, "That INCLUDES the price of the paint". This is a custom color mix of a very high quality paint. He said they could start today at 8AM (11-03-2016). Jason and Tabb arrived right on time and went right to work. By 1PM they had two coats on and all trim paint was gone over a third time after the tape off was removed. They did and EXCELLENT job. The room looks great and to my satisfaction the paint covered the dark original color as though it were never there. Jason and Tabb kept us informed about what they were doing at each point or when they would step out to let a coat dry. They then came to us and had us inspect the job thoroughly and asked if it was to our satisfaction and if not, what would we like them to do. It was perfect upon inspection and we had nothing more to add or ask of them. Considering the labor of two men for over a half day as well as two gallons of quality paint, I could not have done this cheaper myself and had the room back into a livable space nearly as quickly. Overall, I recommend L & L Painting, Inc. for anyone considering interior paint work needs and I will indeed call on them for future painting needs whether inside or out. Did a good job on the house.  However, they rinsed their paint buckets out in my side lawn and killed the grass.  Didn't see it until the grass started growing in the spring.  Killed about 75 square feet.

Everything went very well. The first paint sample was a little too light to match the existing paint on my house, so Vern returned it and got a slightly darker color that was an exact match. Even though the lattice replacement turned out to be more work than originally envisioned, Vern stuck with his original bid, which was very reasonable. When Joe and Jason were finished, they cleaned up my yard and hauled away all the debris from the job.

The three individuals that I dealt with (Vern, Joe, and Jason) were all very friendly but also very professional. They made good suggestions as the job progressed and they treated my house as if it were their own. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their house painted.

It went well.  We live in an area prone to windy spring weather.  This caused the job to extend over a five-day period. The crew ranged between 2 and 5 workers.  The contractor was working on a home around the corner and the workers were optimizing their time between prep and actual painting as the weather permitted.   The crew was courteous and the boss was available by phone at all times.  I would certainly use this contractor again and would recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Quick estimate.  Kept to the estimate quote.  Painters were very efficient, professional, and got the job completed in very little time.

Overall, they were great. Very polite, and reasonably priced. Vern is very easy to work with and responsive on the phone!
The painters missed a small spot on the door, but they were back over in a reasonable amount of time and fixed it. Looks great now!
