I worked for a top nursing company in Seattle where I took great pride in the care and happiness of my patients, but I knew someday I wanted to do the same for animals, as I had been raised with horses, hamsters, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. I had a real love for all animals. I was really looking forward to moving to the Tri-Cities after living in the Seattle area for the past 20 years. Having been raised in California, I was longing for the hot summers again. So after getting my two daughters raised and in college, I was ready to make my move. Since moving to the Tri-Cities, I have volunteered with a local animal shelter and have fostered dogs. I’m a member of Professional United Pet Sitters. Whether you are on vacation, or have a busy work schedule and just don’t have time to care for your pet family, you can count on me to get the job done. She has provided a range of pet care services. Generally, I have had her visit once per week to play with my dog, who is otherwise crated during the day. When I'm out of town, I have had her stay the night to care for both my pets, and I have also upon occasion boarded Kenna the Dog and had Heather visit 2x a day to feed and medicate Xena the Cat. In my experience, Heather is extremely reliable. She is punctual and thorough and provides text or email updates upon request. I am comfortable traveling knowing that she is taking good care of my pets.
Heather also provides outings to dog parks, but my dog is a high-energy herding dog and is sometimes too wired for dog parks (she tries to herd the other dogs), so I have not used that service (but wanted to mention it as available).
