We had a couple service calls for issues learning our new system that we were not charged for. Great service on top of great quality work. They listened to our heating/air challenges and personalized our air circulator to ensure comfort in all areas of our home. We won't call anyone else.

We had BOB RHODES HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING come out and I was very disappointed. They quoted me $200 to $250 and charged me a thousand dollars.Very disappointed. They replaced stuff that need not to be replaced without asking if they could do that or should do that or I wanted them to do that so I'm very disappointed with Bob Rhodes Heating and Air. I got upset with the billing so I sent him a check for $400 and put "pay in full." They sent me the check back and turned me over to collections. So I got my attorney write a letter to collections saying this guy fucked me over so I haven't heard from him since and I haven't given him any more money. The collection agency said they were dropping this. All I needed done was a six-foot section of ductwork replaced. He replaced that and then he picked another 12-foot section, replaced that and charged a thousand dollars. He could've asked at any point in time and he didn't. He just replaced it and then he billed it. I was actually coordinating for my girlfriend I live with. She's 77. She's in a walker and has a cripple and he did that to her. I give him a D because the duct work's nice but the asshole that runs the show is just an evil person. They took a long time to get here.

We got several quotes and Bob Rhodes was the best combination of price, quality, and expertise. Since we wanted to relocate the units, they gave us great (and sensible) advise on our best options. A big part of this was managing our expectations based on the layout of our house. The only thing we weren't thrilled with was that we identified one of our primary concerns as the undersized unit having trouble getting air to the end of our new addition. The problem still existed after the original install. Fortunately we had a really hot day soon after the install, so we asked them to come back and check it out. They identified a modification to the ductwork that should have been done in the first place. Either way, they were quick to fix it and things have been fine through the rest of the summer.

the owner of the company was knocking at my door, to see what was wrong with our A/C unit. He was able to replace a bad item, in no time the repairs were done. I have not seen the bill as yet, but I'm sure it will be well worth it.

Very happy with the whole experience from bid to completion. I worked with Kevin through the process and he oversaw every detail and is clearly knowledgeable and detail oriented. Price was competitive, work completed in a timely fashion. I am very impressed with their craftsmanship from planning on through the job. They didn't settle for just replacing what was there, they installed the new system with new transitions that reoriented the way the system sits in the basement to maximize the efficient use of the space and operation of the system. Very happy customer.

Success. It took awhile to get the new parts get connected to such an old heat pump. He did a great job. He was tolerant of my happy dog and sensitive to my need to go to work. I dumped another HVAC company when they tried to see me a heat pump I didn't need. Bob Rhodes has been honest and very reasonably priced. As a woman I could not be happier with how I have been treated. I subscribe to their semi-annual check-ups. I get a 10 percent discount on all repairs and parts. You won't be disappointed!

We requested Blake as he has always done service for our family. He is punctual and polite, but most importantly he is honest. We like the annual contract for HVAC as we recently purchased and moved into this 1980's vintage house and like the idea of a single repair guy who knows our setup. The service was performed in a thorough but timely manner and all mess was cleaned up at the completion of the job.

I called them in the morning around 9am...they are here now at 10am! I'm thrilled, He found the problem right away. He told me the cost of the part and the service call...I okayed it, and he went to work...had the part on his truck! He's done! Wow! In one visit...I appreciate you Bob Rhodes heating and air!

After speaking with several HVAC installation companies, I called Rhodes on the advice of a friend. Kevin genuinely listened to what I wanted to accomplish. Even after the work was done, I've e-mailed him several times with questions, and appreciated the fact that he always took time to respond. Next time I need HVAC work done, Rhodes will be the first company I call.

Things went great! This is the third time we have used this company and each time they are friendly, reliable, professional and get things done right. Will continue to use them every year for regular service and for any repairs that may arise.

The Service Call: technician arrived on time, crawled under the house, and inspected the electric furnace. (I was hoping for a "tune up", and to be good to go for another winter.)
The tech reported that the sequencer had problems (some of the circuits did not engage) and that the main conductor had been burned. He would need to discuss this his boss, as to what kind of repairs could or should be made.
The tech arrived at the promised time, and was very professional. He also inspected the air conditioning unit, and pronounced it old, but serviceable.
The Proposal for a new HVAC system:
The boss called us the next day, and said that the level of previous damage was such that they could not comfortably proceed with repair work, and were concerned about incurring liability, if there were future significant problems. Fair enough. Now we moved on to doing the prudent thing, and replacing a 46 year old system. This is where things started to break down.
I will admit to a little bit of sticker shock, as his was the first quote that I heard for the job. It was high enough that I did not immediately embrace the project.
As we discussed the best way to proceed with creating a new heating system, he did not want to put the new unit back in the crawlspace. Rather, he wanted to take over about half of a coat closet, and create a new air return in the ceiling of the hallway. As the discussion went on, it became clearer to us that putting the unit in the closet was more for their convenience (during future service calls) than for ours.
The company representative left the house, and promised to get us some proposals, covering a variety of approaches. This proposal finally arrived 19 days later -- long after we had decided that they really weren't interested in the work.
Their prices was moderate to high, and much higher than we thought it should be.
We ended up going with a supplier who offered a much better price, and a much more professional approach to interacting with the customer.
