Before I chose Best on the initial visit before their bid,  I could see they understood painting and saw things that were needed to be done to get the results i wanted on a repaint job of a house built in 1996. Work began on the day agreed and was done in four work days the same week.  One day lost due to rain in wise  decision not to risk damage to new paint by a rain shower. . First they pressure washed everything.  Then the second entire day was spent preparing the surfaces, sanding some peeling paint, filling holes and cracks with caulk and priming these areas.  Then, after the rain delay,  in two days the painting was finished in perfect weather.  Best had four workers each assigned to part of the painting, so two worked on the big spray painting which required careful masking of windows, doors, light fixtures etc. Then they painted the front door and garage side access door neatly with a different color.  A third worker specaiized in the white trim and porch railing  being extremely careful to make a neat edge where the white trim and main house color met together without overlaps . The fourh worker hand brushed  and rolled strain into an overheat louvered patio cover. He went over each cedar board many times with roller and brush until the wood would not soak up any more stain.  VERY good coveage.For the entire job four colors of paint and stain were needed and they used Home Depot's highest grade exterior  paint that got top scores in Consumer Reporta long term paint tests. Planning and supervision of the work was outstanding, and they added a second coat to a West wall hit by afternoon hot sun. 
One advantage of Best Construction is they were skilled in other contraction work and I used them to repair a wind damaged storm door.   Also. they noticed I had some roof shingles on the ridge top that were damaged and repaired this for  a small added fee.   Getting this fixed before wind blew these shingles off saved a major repair job later.  VERY pleased they noticed this.
They cleaned up nicely and everything was finished  on time at the agreed price.  They left me buckets of all four colors for touchup of any future needs.  They even removed and folded the tarps I had put on to protects a few shrubs near the house.  i made payment by check at the completion of the job as agreed..

The fence turned out well as did the siding.  The siding was replaced on two sides of the house where the existing siding was T-111.  The original bid called for leaving the south side of the house T-111 and I asked that it too be replaced with Hardy plank to more closely match the existing lap siding. That incurred an increase in the bid, which I expected.  However the entry way, which should have been included was deemed too difficult to replace.  I insisted it match and that too caused  cost increase.

I felt that paint prep was somewhat substandard.  The threshold for the back door had to be replaced.  The replacement left a large gap. 

He was on time if not a little early ever day ready to det started, he and his crew are very professional and from start to finish the job was completed and the place cleaned. Afterafterward we did a inspection that he found a couple of things they missed and he corrected on the spot, things I would have missed. Over all I will use Best Construction again

Quick to provide estimate. They were able to meet my schedule by bringing guys in on a weekend. Did a quality job.

He gave us a great price on labor. We purchased the materials. Very happy with outcome. Floor looks fantastic. He discovered Home Depot had sold us 2 different sized tiles. Home Depot  didn't have enough of the size we started with. Best Construction was able to make the switch to a different size in an area where it wasn't noticeable. Make sure when purchasing tile when the lot numbers are different it may be a different size due to chinese machinery changeover in the production. The size on the box said it was the same but it was 1/16 inch difference.

Mirsad and his crew started on time, prepped and painted a 4 bedroom rambler with trim in a span of 4 days from start to finish.  Mirsad's accent is pretty heavy, however he has an eye for detail and quality.  His work ethic is second to none.  The weather was ideal for this job.  Best Construction lives up to their name.

He came out and reviewed the job, we discussed the best options and his actual recommendations were to redo the roof completely, and should me the places that made this necessary, he explained that he could do what I wanted, but we would have to redo the entire thing later anyway. I explained that we needed this work done first, and that I understood we would have to redo everything later. We settled on the price, and he came out the following day, he completed the work in a timely and professional manner

The language barrier is definitely a big hurdle. Starting out with punctuality, being late was generally not an issue but showing up earlier than the agreed upon time was a common occurrence which had its own way of wearing on me. The work always seemed rushed, I know time is money but I felt the quality absolutely suffered for it. There were several instances in which this contractor either didn't have the proper tools and proceeded anyways or relied on my tools to be available to complete the work. This followed with a general attitude that mistakes (and there were a lot of them) were acceptable because they or would be hidden behind a cabinet or could be covered up. For example my house is older and used to have radiant heat in the ceilings, this means that the ceiling have a double layer of drywall. While patching a hole in the ceiling around a light fixture when the piece of drywall to patch didn't fit as it should it was put in at an angle and with only a single piece would fit at angle the remaining void was filled with joint compound, a ridiculous amount of joint compound that cracked as it shrinks when it dries and then that crack was filled with more joint compound the following day, what should have happened would be to trim the piece accordingly and place the second layer... When cutting wholes for the electrical boxes and such the holes were grossly oversize and liquid nail was used to fill the gap left as well as leaving an electrical box entirely behind a sheet of drywall that I fortunately remembered existed and had to locate. With the copious amounts of joint compound that was essentially being used to hide the poor cutting and measuring. I would have expect at least a few hours of sanding if not a whole day to be done, instead only about 20-30 minutes of sanding was done for whatever reason I think they expected the texture to cover the imperfections, not the case. Then with the texturing, the texture gun appeared to be of ill repair, it was leaking profusely from the nozzle and being operated with a valve on the air supply in lieu of the trigger, it shot pieces of curly dried material in with the texture material, it looks horrible and completely uneven. The tile work was adequate at best but could have done a better job with the planning the layout so the tile would have been more centered in the kitchen. All in all, I am completely dissatisfied with the work and would not recommend this company to anyone. The name Best Construction is a farce and was a far cry from anything best.

I saw this crew painting a house at the end of the block and asked if they would give me an estimate. Mirsad was there in two hours and gave a very reasonable estimate and told me how they were going to do it. Replace some siding, caulk around the windows, pressure wash and sand. Within a week all was done. He would call the night before to let us know his schedule. Very fast and an extremely nice job. No messes left behind. While he was in the house, he noticed that our baseboards were missing from some remodeling work we had done. He got those and installed them for no charge. Then we asked him about the floor tiles that were coming up and he gave us a bid and did the job over the weekend. While here he replaced some shingles that had blown off and then we asked him to paint the fence as the house made it look pretty bad. This spring he will be back to put a new roof on the house. Good price, very fast, on time and an excellent job.

After checking out Angie's List, I called Best Construction. I was in a pinch. I had been given the run around by another paint contractor and I needed to have the exterior of my house completely painted in two weeks. I was going to be leaving town and I wanted to have it finished before I left. 
Mirsad tries, but his English is not great. He brought his Office Manager with him and they gave me an estimate on the spot. Many estimates I had to wait to receive, but not from Best Construction. This was important to me because I didn't have time to waste. I felt more secure having two people from the company come to give an estimate that I needed immediately. By the time I consulted with my husband over the phone, the written estimate was emailed to me. Not only did I have a quick estimate, but I also had it in writing. I told Best Construction to start as soon as they could squeeze me in their schedule. 
Mirsad came by the next day to finalize measurements and make sure that he and I knew what was expected. That was a Sunday and I was completely shocked. He power washed the house the next day. I felt like my needs for immediacy were heard and understood. 
Mirsad was very attentive and worked extremely hard and alone at the beginning of the job. He was open to ideas and sudden changes I requested. Any other contractor would have reminded me that I was the one that needed the job done fast and that I was stalling it by making additional request. Not Mirsad. He was so easy to work with. My additional requests included hanging a new front door I fell in love with after he had bid the job, and "beefing" up the window frames. I couldn't find shutters I wanted to replace the old shutters and decided to go without them. Making the window frames bigger added that additional pop that was needed in not having the shutters.
When Best Construction's paint crew arrived they were easy to talk to and fun to have around. They were extremely polite and worked very hard. They included me in their discussions about my house, which made me feel like a member of the team.
Before I left town my house looked beautiful and I had great memories. I smiled every time I looked at it. My next big job is having my entire house interior repainted and Best Construction already has won that bid. No need to mess around with other contractors. I already learned that lesson before I called Best Construction.

I have nothing negative to say about the work Mirsad and his crew performed, They were a pleasure to work with.
The work started just a few days after we accepted the quote. The crew worked for several days and did a great job in preparation and final painting. They use Behr paint - which is what we wanted since it is a top-rated brand by the leading consumer review organization. The base application was by spray but was a minimum of 2 coats (more in some areas). Rollers and brushes used for trim and other areas.
As noted in other reviews, communication can be a challenge although Melissa (office manager) and Derek (foreman?) provide a lot of help in this regard. Miscommunication resulted in the wrong color paint being applied to a small section of the house - but this was corrected with no lasting issues. I recommend writing down everything of importance like what color goes where.
I will have no hesitation using them again for other jobs in the future.

The owner of the company showed up for the estimate with his office clerk and that was good as he is a little difficult to understand due to a heavy accent (Bosnian).  He seemed a no nonsense guy and provided a fair estimate so I authorized the work.  The first day of work saw two employees show up for the wood trim repair and prep the house surface for painting.  There were a couple of issues with the trim repair that I brought to the owner's attention and he saw to it that it was all taken care of prior to painting.  The painters were excellent, thorough and stayed til late in the evening in their effort to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job.  My house looks great and I couldn't be happier with their work. 

Best Construction takes pride in their work.  I had a hole in my inside wall that was cut to repair an outside faucet that had not yet been patched.  Best threw in that minor repair at no extra cost.  They came back to make touch-ups promptly.  There were only a couple of minor things that could have been better.  I forgot to remove a garden hose reel that was attached to the house.  They did remove it to paint behind it but the hose has paint on it for some reason and it was not re-installed back correctly.  I asked for an end-cap that was missing on the end of the gutter to be replaced, which was overlooked.  Overall, I was very happy working with Best and am very satisfied with the quality of their work.

They made my home look like new...and with very few problems.

The owned, Mirsad, and his secretary came and did a walk through and noted many areas that needed fixing that we had missed.  He made good notes and asked a lot of questions as to our expectations.  A day later the secretary emailed with an estimate.  This was the second estimate we had gotten on this job.
I liked the fact that his estimate was lower  than the first and the paint was included.
Mirsad was very nice but somewhat difficult to understand but there was always someone with him to translate.
The work is on time and they are doing a fine job.
I would definitely recommend you check this company out; you won't be disapointed.

After e-mailing I was contacted within just a few hours. We set up a time when we were both able to get together for the bid. The owner Mirsad and office manager Melissa came over at the exact time that was arranged. I was given a bid on the spot, I asked when they could work me into their schedule they said 10 to 12 days. I was very happy when they started only 3 days later. They pressure washed, repaired some damaged siding, calked primed the bare spots, sprayed and back rolled and did the trim. The job was completed and cleaned up in just a couple days.

We needed the exterior of our house painted and used Angie's List to
contact 8 painters, 5 of whom responded.  While Mirsad's bid was not the
cheapest, he impressed us when he came to do the estimate not only with
his professionalism, but with his suggestions of how to improve the
appearance of the house.  Although we had originally been scheduled for
later in the week, he was able to start earlier.  His crew arrived
Friday to do the pre-wash and then came back  Monday to caulk.  They
always told us when they would be here and the always arrived on time. 
Tuesday they arrived at 8:00 AM and painted the house, finishing at 5:00
PM.  We did find a couple of spots on the trim that needed a little
touch up, but overall it was an excellent job.  Mirsad's employees were
friendly and professional.  Melissa did an excellent job of keeping in
touch with us.  Cannot say enough about the quality of this experience.
