It started as scheduled and was done in a reasonable number of days after it started. His two man crew were quick workers and were fun to have around--I never felt uncomfortable or put out by having them around. There was one slight mis-step with someof the woodwork but it was nothing to worry about.

I found Dan and his crew very easy to work with. They provided quality work, price was reasonable, kept in good communication and got the work done in a timely manner. They were adaptable when I added on several smaller projects to the original plan. If any remodel plans come up in the future they will be the first people I call. Overall a very good experience.

We had a bad experience. The quality of the work was unacceptable and the owner was initially difficult to work with. He did agree to reduce the price and we severed our relationship. I can't recommend them. They showed up late and left early so I did not have to pay them anymore. I have mixed feelings about this.

They did an excellent job. They were very respectful and kept everything clean while they worked. They always came out on time and everything looks great.

Went per estimate. Work was done when promised and compleated on time. Very professionally done. Friendly service.

This was a simple job to remove some built in cabinets and workbench from my garage. Dan showed up on time, by himself, removed the cabinets and workbench, hauled the debris away, and left my garage clean. It took him just under two hours to do the work. He was professional and amiable in every instance of our contact. Another company bid the same job, saying it would take 4 to 6 hours, and estimated a 700 dollar cost - which is why I kept looking, and I am glad I ran into Dam Stauffer who gave me an honest and reasonable price. I highly recommend his company.

My original range vent hood was not vented and was very noisy, and there was no easy way to add a duct to vent it. I ordered a new Broan vented hood and had Kenmore Remodel-Construction do the work. It involved cutting up through the cabinet above and through the roof. They installed the duct and the rainproof cap on the roof, framed in and then plasterboarded around the duct, taping and mudding it in preparation for painting. In addition the cabinet over the refrigerator was raised to make room for a modern refrigerator (next year). I was going to install the range hood myself, it looked easy from the directions. Dan and his crew did an excellent job getting everything ready. A few days later I partially tore a tendon in my arm moving furniture that was too heavy. Then I received a follow-up email from Dan saying that if I was having any trouble installing the range hood he would come out and help me, no charge. Dan came this afternoon and installed the range hood. It wasn't easy for him and there is no way I could have done it myself. Dan went way beyond normal good customer service and I will be having him do additional work on my home in the future.

I would hire Dan's group in a heart beat. His attention to service and detail was fantastic. He was very patient in the decision-making process and was always responsive to any concerns or changes we needed to make.

Overall it went very well. Many things impressed me about Dan. He is very professional and knowledgeable about his trade. He came to the house prepared with tools and equipment. He never seemed to be in a rush and always spent time finishing the small details. He is a great communicator. If Dan told me he would be at my house on a certain day, he was there. When I called him on the phone he usually answered, if not he called me back within a short time. I trusted him right at the start and felt comfortable enough to just leave a key for him. I will be using Kenmore Remodel again in the future. I will be having Dan update the fluorescent kitchen lights in my 1976 split level home to something that looks and functions like in a newer home. Dan has given me a bid on doing the job and I have checked around, it’s a very fair bid. I have confidence in Kenmore Remodel and would recommend them for any job you have in your home.

Dan Stauffer was fantastic. He came out to our place, listened to what we wanted, immediately took measurements. His estimate was definitely less than what we had expected, and it was given to us in writing within a few days from his visit. He shopped prices for the type of granite that we wanted, and also hired a talented and experienced granite installation crew. The countertops are gorgeous! Once the granite was in to his satisfaction, he installed the disposal unit, and re-connected all the plumbing. Since the sink and disposal unit were different sizes, all new pipes had to be configured. There are no problems, no leaks. Dan cares about the details -- like filling in and feathering where the old counter-top and backsplash scarred the walls. The detail work is very well done. The carpentry work done for the porch guard railing and steps is top-notch. All the material is more than sturdy, and all edges, corners, etc. are beautifully put together. Dan's work in the kitchen and the porch/deck definitely has helped us maintain the 'street appeal' of our home, as well as even upgrade the value because of the now-beautiful kitchen. If you can't do the work yourself, you gotta hire a professional you can trust to get it done right the first time. If I ever need a remodel or project like this again, Dan at Kenmore Remodel is the first person I am going to call.
