I knew when I purchased my house this summer that I would likely need to get a new gas furnace for it before winter arrived.  With time to shop around and check referrals from friends I found Doug Holt and was so pleased with his prompt, clear, helpful and honest service that when I had a much smaller but important job to be completed I asked if Doug would take a look.  The second job was so small that I couldn't seem to find anyone with real expertise to bother with me.  Doug took the time and patience to treat my house as his own for both the furnace replacement and for the minor electrical work.  Oh, and yes, he also responded more promptly than any other private contractors or companies I had approached to do either job.

My house has a gas furnace, but it's from the late 70's and it was time to update it with a more efficient system. My niece had used HVAC Solutions a couple of years ago on updating his oil furnace to a gas fired one so I decided to include them as one of the bids on our work. Doug came out and did a very fair estimate of 2600.00 to install an American Standard furnace so we decided to go with him. He was punctual and efficient in completing the work. He even installed an extra vent for no extra charge. He cleaned up after his work and was punctual throughout. Now, 9 months later {I am still more than satisfied with the furnace.
