The work for us went along all right, but I do recall disagreements between GB Systems and the tenant who hired them separately. Last fall, the HVAC compressor in that space failed, and we replaced it. Then the new one failed instantly!! Even with the warranty we were out of pocket another $2000. Our maintenance company has ascertained that the failure happened because of improper equipment installation in the first place. The interior air handlers for two of the spaces were mixed up. The air handler for this tenant's space is too small for the exterior portion of the unit, and one of our other spaces has an interior air handler that is too big! GB Systems admits their error. They say they have no liability because: 1) It is out of warranty; 2) The tenant never paid them in full; 3) They subbed out the work. I am not making this up!
