+ -1 moreWe went to a large local HVAC wholesale supplier to get a recommendation for an excellent, small, hands-on company that could help us convert our basement from electric baseboard heat to gas heat. They recommended Florian Stavrica of Freedom Services. Florian came to our home and did a thorough examination of the crawl space with regard to the location of the furnace. We had already paid another company to install the duct work to each room, but we still weren't getting the heat we needed. Florian explained that there were no return air vents from the basement, something the first company never even mentioned. Florian told us the best way to handle this job was to make the basement a separate "zone" from the rest of the house. After further discussion, we opted to have three zones in our home, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Florian is a master HVAC engineer!
Description of Work: Freedom Services installed automatic dampers and return air vents to "zone" our home into three separate zones, all of which have individual thermostats. We can now heat our basement without overheating our upstairs bedrooms.
