Expensive overall, I was surprised by fees that other contractors didn’t charge me for. They seemed to do a quality job though.

I had a bid and work done for a total re-pipe of my house. The bid didn’t include a Seattle City Permit for the work nor the right of way work that ended up being required as they needed to replace the line from the meter. It wasn’t til I had a problem a couple of days later that I found out from another plumber that I should have had a permit for both of those operations. The work was done the Thursday and Friday before Labor Day and was scheduled a month before giving them ample time to pull a permit. They came out the Tuesday after Labor day to finish the work on the bid. One of the items still wasn’t fixed on Wednesday. I have a video of that leak. There was a very leaky sink supply line. The reason I had to engage another plumber was that when my contractor brought in a drywaller the following Friday to close the walls, he hit a pipe with a nail. There were no nail plates installed, which come to find out, are standard code to protect the new pipe. 411 claims they installed nail plates, but I have pictures and there were no nail plates installed. When I called them to ask them to come out and fix the leak and install the nail plates, they said it wasn’t there problem. When I called the plumber directly and not the office, he said he would try to get somebody out there. Try???? This is Friday afternoon and my tenants have no water. I got in touch with another plumber, who was there within 90 minutes. In the meantime 411 called me back and said they could get someone there on Saturday morning. Are you kidding me another day without water? I said I already got another plumber. The plumber who fixed the leak, confirmed there was no nail plate installed, at the leak location and installed one himself. During the conversation with my tenant about getting this resolved that day. I come to find out that my outdoor spigot was moved and that the other one, I had 2, was disabled. There is no mention on the bid that a spigot would be moved or the other one disabled, nor was I notified of it. The first I heard was from my tenant. Oh yeah, they also left a mess of my garage, getting to main line, and didn’t put any of the stuff back they moved. They just left it, without moving back to it’s original place. Don’t ever use these plumbers they didn’t pull permits, they didn’t install nail plates to protect their work, they refused to come back to fix it, incurring me another 200 after spending over 8800, and disabled and moved outdoor water spigots without my permission.

"It's very disappointing that now-a-days once anything goes slightly wrong and you are simply unable to rush right over that people feel they go straight to the internet and slander/bash you. What's even more disappointing is we have worked with this customer for years and have always been there for her. So, the 1 time we couldn't we get there instantly, we get bashed online? Wow... As a customer who was very involved in every detail, one would think she would have read the contract that she signed which clearly stated all the work and what was included or not included. She chose the work to fit her budget and she had this information to review for several months. Yes, we were scheduled to do a "partial repipe" of some galvanized pipes, but funny she didn't mention how we bent over backwards when there was a major emergency that arose due to the age and state of the pipes in the home. Obviously, this was unexpected. This work being done was two days before a holiday weekend, so we had to rally and bring on additional manpower to do more work that was not part of the original scope. We did not charge her any additional costs or emergency rates and got the water back on for her tenants before the weekend. This customer lives out of state, so we took multiple progress pictures to help document our work daily along with multiple conversations. It's unfortunate they hired a handyman that didn't mark out their lines properly and hit a plumbing pipe. We got the call around 3pm on a Friday and as a smaller company we did not have anyone available until first thing the next morning, well with in a 24hr period. We tried to assist, but customer was already clearly agitated and not willing to work with us. As for the boxes in the garage, we asked to have all the plumbing areas cleared out prior to our start date and could have rescheduled the job because they weren't. Instead we spent the first hour moving the boxes out of our way to get the job done. No, we don't put them back because we only deal with the plumbing. The hose bibb had to be moved as the old one was tied in underground to the old system, so we did what we had to in order to get you a new working hose bibb. Bottom line we are sorry that you feel this way and wish you the best in your future endeavors."

installation went extremely well. The new sink, disposal working great thus far. I am waiting for the electrician to wire for the new dishwasher. Then my kitchen will be completely functional once again. 411 plumbing is excellent to work with in every way. Communication & quality of workmanship deserves an A+.

I am surprised how this company gets positive reviews. The main reason for F is that they replaced a part of the entirely copper piping to PEX. That electrically disconnected the copper sections which is dangerous and not acceptable by the code. They did not come prepared and could not complete work that day. The owner tried to make me pay his invoice ahead of work been complete and threatened with a collection agency. The employee who did the work did good job trying to smooth the situation. I would not recommend hiring this company.

"We are sorry we could not fully earn an A review. In this case we gave the customer an estimate, but the day we showed up to do the work he added more work which we were not prepared to do. We had parts delivered that day to get it done. Our bid stated we use Pex pipe and it is code to use Pex. The job was done and he did not want to pay as we were leaving. Sorry you were not happy, but we strive to do our best even when unexpected things happen. Good luck to you"

Cindy was great in helping to arrange our service and help us select a replacement faucet. Wonderful job split over two days. John came out and installed a new Kohler faucet for us on day one and was joined by Mitch on the second day to finish our outdoor hose bibs and pipe refit. Professional, courteous, on time, cleaned up before leaving, overall beautiful work - what more could you ask for? We've used 411 during an emergency awhile back and they will continue to be our family's go to plumber!

We had a kitchen drain that was clogged, but it was intermittent. I had tried to use a snake to clear it, but to no avail. We called 411 Plumbers since we had used them in the past to replace a couple of toilets. We arranged a time that worked and when they came out found that our kitchen drain was not sloped properly and we had 15 feet of plugged drain in our crawl space. They cut it out, replaced it and sloped it properly. They did a great job at a fair price.

They gave us the best quote for removing and replacing the old galvanized pipe from our 1950s house. They were very professional onsite. They finished the job on time, and were honest. Great people to deal with. When we do another project, we will go to them first!

Was calling around to a number of plumbers when I had a main water line leak outside the house. Some would not even look unless I contracted another leak detection service and some charged for an estimate. I did find a plumber that would have tried to repair my line but since the house was built in '78, we were not sure if it could be repaired. Cindy at 411 was a champ on the phone. She helped me with a lot of details I found nowhere else. Ambrose came out and gave me a free estimate. He really knew what he was talking about. We decided to go with an all new line. The day of the replacement line, the experienced crew showed up on time. They dug a ditch 2 feet deep and laid a new water line, along with a new shut off valve outside. They filled in their ditch and since we didn't have much of a front lawn, I didn't really care about how they replaced the sod. They do tell you that they do not landscape. I'm really happy with the work they did and would recommend.

411 was very responsive. They came to the home to bid the job within 24 hours, scheduled the job that week and got it done in a timely manner. The work looks great and the cost was reasonable. They were professional and a pleasure to have at the worksite. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Modern kitchen faucet repair: had to get them to come back, which they did next day, to adjust. Works okay now. Old bathroom faucet repair: Got the job done. More of a challenge because of age and scarcity of parts. Took a bit of time. My neighborhood has many houses of the same 1920s vintage so would have hoped that the local plumbers would be more savvy about the older fittings. Maybe too much of an expectation.

This simple job went horribly wrong. When he was done with switching the drain from Johnson-T to under the sink, our dishwasher stopped taking in water. The dishwasher was in perfect working condition before, but he left it in non-functional condition, with a $592 bill. It cost me additional $150 to get a dishwasher expert, who took 5 minutes to tighten the connection the plumber knocked loose when he moved dishwasher. I got 5 other estimates from the A rated plumbers on Angie's list, and their estimates range from $100 to $200. This one ended up costing me $742 - more than the cost of a very good brand new dishwasher. I called the owner and explained the entire things. He was very rude and told me it is my fault that I did not get a written estimate from them. I felt like I was cheated. My advice - stay away from these guys.

Really well! 411 was very cognizant of my need to have a toilet quickly (I only have the one bathroom). They squeezed me in after a job that finished early. The plumbers were friendly and efficient and did a great job. I would hire them again for sure.

It went great. Mitch and his team said the dig was more difficult than initially expected so the job had to extended past the one day estimate. A new line was installed and my yard was put back into place nicely and neatly. My 411 plumbing experience was really great. Mitch and his team seemed very thorough and their bid was way more reasonable than the other plumbers I called even after it went above the initial estimate (which was understandable given the hard work involved). Overall, I'm very satisfied and would use them again for future plumbing needs.

His communication is great and he gave us advice on how he would recommend we do the job, but ultimately left it up to us to decide.  He was quick and clean and very reasonably priced.  Ambrose does great work and so do his employees who have worked on other projects for my clients.  I will have him back to finish up on additional small jobs and replace my bathtub when we get to that stage of the project.
