I ordered 17 yards of concrete for a Saturday pour. It was supposed to be two trucks back to back @ 10:30. Well at 10:00 I get a call that there running behind by 1 hour but would still make it with both trucks. First truck shows up at 12:30 and has a attitude that he should have been off by now and that they were over booked. He backed in and started to sink into the ground some. We asked him to move to the other side and was told if he pulled out he was done and that the other truck would back in either. We got 5.5 yards off before the truck broke and couldn't be repaired. He said it was 7 yards. The other truck didn't show up till 2. He was able to back right in the other side just fine. We poured to a stopping point 5.5 yards short of completing the pour. When I called the owner all he was willing to do was take the $150 saturday charge off. What a joke! Because of there overbooking and poor equipment I now have to pay the contractors for another day. Oh and they charged $40 a yard to go from 3000psi to 4000psi where as other companies its less than $10. The owner offered to take the $75 saturday fee per truck off and that was it.
