Bobby from Carlson's came out to inspect our heat pumps and determine why they weren't running properly. He was knowledgeable about the units and discovered in a very short time what was wrong. He was able to repair one of the heat pumps but sadly informed us that the other would need replacing. Within the week, Bobby returned personally to present three options for us to consider in replacing the heat pumps. We chose the unit that would best fit our needs. The new heat pump was promptly delivered and installed by Bobby and his crew. When the installation was finished, Robert and Andrea came out to inspect the work and help us set up our new thermostat. The entire crew, including receptionists at the office are a friendly, courteous group of people. Without asking, they always cover their outside shoes with cloth booties. In that we remove our shoes in the house, we truly appreciate this consideration. After the work was completed, Carlson's provided the necessary information and receipts to help us claim a tax rebate for energy credits. We feel this company went beyond what was expected of them in doing work at our house.

They were very receptive to our ideas and were able to answer all questions about the design of the system that we wanted for our home.  We tried to ask all the questions before the project ever started to make sure all parties were on the same page and the process would flow quite smoothly.  We needed to have the heat pump removed a few days early to allow for another contractor the access to pour a new patio which we wanted to have the heat pump set on.  The first team arrived and removed the old heat pump and did it very professionally. Two days later the next team arrived, on time as promised, introduced themselves and looked over the project and commenced the removal and installation of the new air handler.  When that day was completed, we had a new air handler in place along with all the controls wired up and all ducting work complete.  Since we were waiting on cement to dry behind our home, the heat pump was delayed for two days.  Two days later the team returned and installed the heat pump and completed the installation and commissioned the system.  The provider arranged to have an electrician on site during the install each day to make sure all electrical work was completed in a timely manner.  A few short hours later and the work was complete.  We were very satisfied with the installation and look forward to many years of comfort and a good working relationship with this company.

Follow up Notes:
We were supposed to have a followup technician come out and inspect the installation.  The job was completed on June 6th and as of August 2nd, they have not come out to inspect the installation or to answer any questions.  With repeated contact, we were told that they are short handed and busy with service of faulty air conditioning.  To reach someone on the phone  has been hard. We were able to get a response by email and was told if the outside ventilation during severe cold or hot weather is of issue, then just shut it off.  We had it automated for a reason not to turn it off.  The moral to the story is if you have any questions that will need to be answered after an installation is done, do not pay the bill till everything meets your specifications.    If we had a do over, we would of changed who we used for this project.  Installation was great, customer service is lousy.

I HIRED THIS COMPANY TO DO MAINTENANCE ON MY HEATING SYSTEM. THEY DID NOT INSTALL THIS, BUT THEY ARE WELL KNOWN IN THE LOCAL AREA AS BEING ONE OF THE BEST TO HIRE.

THEY WERE PROMPT AND HAD OUR SYSTEM UP AND GOING. THEY DID NOT HAVE THE NEW DIGITAL CONTROL PAD IN STOCK SO THEY LOANED US ONE OF THEIRS UNTIL OURS ARRIVED AND THEN CAME BACK OUT AND INSTALLED IT. GREAT JOB BY THIS COMPANY.

THE SERVICE PROVIDED WAS VERY GOOD. THE CORRECT MEASUREMENTS WERE OBTAINED, CORRECT PARTS WERE ORDERED AND THE COMPLETE JOB WAS FINISHED ON TIME. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND THE TIME IT TOOK TO DO SO.

THE SERVICE WAS A BIT PRICEY FOR THE SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME IT TOOK TO PERFORM THE SERVICE. THEY MADE THE WORK SEEM MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT ACTUALLY WAS. HOWEVER, THEY DID FIX THE AIR CONDITIONING.

VERY NICE GUY AND SHOWED PERSONALISM TO US IN WORKING WITH US ON THE PRICE FOR THE REPAIRS AND DOING THE JOB. GOT IT ALL DONE IN ABOUT 5 DAYS SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO GO LONG WITHOUT THE USE OF THE AIR CONDITIONER IF WE NEEDED IT.

WHEN WE FIRST PURCHASED OUR HEAT PUMP, LIKE 15 YEARS AGO, WE WENT WITH THE SAME COMPANY. WE DECIDED WE NEEDED TO UPDATE OUR MODEL. THEY HAVE COME ALONG WAYS IN THE LAST 15 YEARS. THEY PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH CARLSON'S HEATING AND A/C WAS EXCELLENT. THEY REPLACED MY HEAT PUMP FAST AND NOW MY HEAT WORKS GREAT. I'M REALLY GLAD THAT I WENT THERE.

I NEEDED AIR CONDITIONING PUT INTO MY HOME. I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORKERS. MY ELECTRIC BILL WENT DOWN. I AM REALLY GLAD I HAD THIS PUT IN.

INSTALLATION WAS DONE ON TIME, AS WAS THE DUCT SEALING. HOWEVER, THE ELECTRONIC AIR FILTER WAS NOT PLUGGED IN AND EVEN AN INSTALLATION REVIEW DID NOT CATCH IT. I COMPLAINED THAT IT WAS NOT COMING ON ABOUT 2 MONTHS AFTER THE INSTALLATION. THAT WAS SLOPPY WORKMANSHIP.

REALLY GOOD COMPANY. CALLED THEM AND THEY CAME RIGHT OVER. THEY EVEN CHECKED ALL THE DUCTS AND VACUUMED THINGS OUT. FRIENDLY REPAIRMEN. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY PERSONABLE.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY TO WORK WITH. THEY CALLED THE NIGHT BEFORE TO CONFIRM THAT THEY WERE COMING. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS AND GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY.

ON OUR FIRST CALL, THE SERVICEMEN WERE GREAT. THE SERVICEMEN HAD TO MAKE SEVERAL TRIPS TO FIND AND FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME TO APPOINTMENTS AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND INFORMATIVE. THEY REALLY TRIED HARD TO FIND THE PROBLEM. THEY DID AND FIXED IT. WE LIKED THEM SO WELL WE CALLED THEM BACK TO THE SECOND PROBLEM, RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. THEY TOLD US WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO KEEP HEAT IN THE HOUSE WHILE DEFROSTING THE UNIT. AGAIN THEY WERE VERY PROMPT ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND INFORMATIVE.

WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. THE AIR COMPRESSER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED SO THEY DID THAT. THIS COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY SENT A MAN OUT TO OUR HOUSE. HE WAS VERY NICE. HE DID THE WORK AND WAS ON HIS WAY. THIS COMPANY WAS GREAT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

THEY CALLED TO CONFIRM THE DAY BEFORE AND CAME AT THE TIME THEY HAD SCHEDULED. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE WORK THAT WAS BEING PERFORMED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS

I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THE HEAT FROM OUR NEW GAS FIREPLACE. THE BLOWER WORKS GREAT AND WE WERE ABLE TO TURN DOWN THE FURNACE FOR MOST OF THE WINTER. IT WAS REALLY EASY TO TURN ON AND TO USE AND IT LOOKS GREAT IN OUR LIVING ROOM.

THE WORKER CAME ON TIME AND CLEAN. HE WAS ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT WITHIN MINUTES. THE WHOLE THING WAS OVER IN A HALF HOUR AND THE HEATER HAS WORKED FINE EVERY SINCE.

THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND CAME TO OUR HOME WITHIN A DAY TO ASSESS THE PROBLEM. THEY DETERMINED QUICKLY THAT THE FURNACE WAS OLD AND DEFINITELY NEEDED REPLACED. THEIR PROMPTNESS IN GETTING THIS REPLACED WAS WONDERFUL SINCE THE WEATHER WAS VERY COLD. THEY WERE GREAT.
