They answered all my questions. They were very professional and I've been very satisfied with their service. I've had no problems. They had exactly what I needed and wanted and the price range was good.

The delivery and take away of the old one was included in the charges. They helped me with everything. They did not try to upsell me anything, in fact they made sure that before they sold it to me, they made sure they had the product in store. The assistant manager was very helpful in getting me what I wanted.

While the sales people in the store are great, professional and helpful to a certain extent, the installation company (subcontractor) was inferior in terms of communication for scheduling and in terms of actual performance and quality of installation. Let's start with scheduling: I had to physically go to Lowe's and track down Installation Services personnel during the work day to nail down scheduling as phone calls were just not being returned, repeatedly. We were working with other contractors and needed hard dates, but the installation subcontractor ignored our phone calls, as did Lowe's Installation Services, blaming the subcontractor for the delays. Like I said, it took a visit to the store and getting in their faces to get on the calendar. Now, for installation: The installer's truck was out of commission on the day of installation, so certain tools and materials were not present when needed. One of those materials was tack strip, needed at all carpet edges. Instead of telling us this and informing us they would need to obtain more, they simply stapled the carpeting at the door transitions, which looked hideous. We had to take photos of the door transitions, take them to the store, show them to Installation Services, and have the installers come back to finish the job properly. When they came back they did not call first to assure I'd be home, so it's just lucky I was there. This repair was done to satisfaction, but overall the installation at the edges of the rooms looks less than desirable. A tool that was not available due to the truck being out of commission on installation day was their vacuum cleaner. They borrowed mine and ended up clogging it to the extent that repairs were needed. Lowe's Installation Services seemed unphased by this issue, unwilling to help and so we had to deal with this ourselves. One area of carpet installation - on a portion of a wall beneath a step down into the living room - was done quite unsatisfactorily. Again, staples were used to attach the carpet to the wall, leaving dimples where the staples are present, leaving shadows. The carpet was not cut large enough to fit in the space leaving gaps, and the overall look is shabby and much worse than the way it looked with the old carpet in the same location. Lowe's was willing to review the issue but ultimately said they could do nothing better, per their installation subcontractor. No one was sent out to look at the area, no offers were made to satisfy us.
I would not use Lowe's for carpet installation in the future.

They don't do the installation. They sub it out. I paid Lowe's and they handled getting the installers. We had a good experience with them. They were punctual and professional.

We had a very good experience with Lowes. We purchased the countertops from them and they subcontracted the installation work out. They were punctual with their service. They were knowledgeable and helped me. I will definitely go back to them for help in the future.

The initial sales process went well. Lowe's was willing to meet the installation cost from another store. We selected Lowe's because of the assurances from our sales person that she had a talented installer. The installer came out, measured and diagrammed a layout (showing seams). We prepared the house by moving all furniture off the carpet and waited for the installer. We waited, and waited. At 10:00AM we started trying to get in touch with the installer with no luck. At 11:00AM we called Lowe's. They were able to reach the installer and learned that he was not available for installations due to health issues. So now we had the furniture on the hardwood floors, nice weather and no installer. Lowe's contacted another installer who came out the following Tuesday to measure again. He agreed with the yardage requirements and scheduled his team out on Friday and Saturday. At this time, the weather had changed for the worse so they had to take the carpet to Lowe's to cut (couldn't cut in our driveway). They worked hard but did not follow the layout diagram prepared by the first installer. We have seams in the middle of several rooms and, contrary to what we were told when we contacted Lowe's, they do not get better with vacuuming. These seams also mean that the padding was seamed in the same location. Padding is tacked down so there are divots as you walk across the floor where the padding is seamed. They ran out of carpet, more had to be ordered and we lucked out getting the same dye lot. The person who installed the second round of carpeting mis-cut an angled step and basically ended up cutting a triangle and 'sticking' it in place. Lowe's was reluctant to acknowledge this was not correct. They finally agreed to send a representative to look at the problem. This required someone else to come look at that step, another visit to fix it and another visit to cut a hole for the heating duct that was covered. The baseboards are pretty beat up. In some areas, the carpet was cut a little too short so there is a gap between the baseboard and the carpet.

Overall the job went okay. Lowe's was good about responding to my phone calls, however the subcontractor that they used was not. I would use them again for future work.

LOWE'S NOT ONLY CARRIES A GREAT SELECTION OF CEILING FANS TO NOT ONLY COOL BUT ALSO TO LOOK 'COOL', BUT THEY ALSO ASSISTED IN THE INSTALLATION. WHEN IT BECAME APPARENT THAT THE PURCHASED FAN DID NOT HAVE ALL OF THE REQUIRED HARDWARE, THEY WERE ABLE TO REPLACE AND ASSIST IN THE INSTALLATION.

EACH INDIVIDUAL INVOLVED ON THE PROJECT WAS COMPETENT AND POLITE. NEVERTHELESS, A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF DELAY AND MISCOMMUNICATION KEPT THINGS IN THE 'B' RANGE. STILL, THE PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFUL.
