Kelly's Woodcraft ( www.kellyswoodcraft.com ) provides custom handmade furniture and design where you are part of the decision process for that inspired woodworking project. Furniture for inside your home or in the back yard. All of the designs are made of solid hardwoods from around the world and are certified sustainable growth from local sources. Using traditional joinery eliminates hardware and ensures furniture that will be around for generations. I have 20 years experience as a woodworker to help guide you with the design process. All design concepts are created on a CAD (computer) program which give you a very good conceptual idea of what your idea will end up like. From our conversation a FREE estimate is provided to you. With agreement on final design and wood species selection half of the quoted estimate price is requested. Then materials are purchased and work begins on your project, giving updates and timelines along the way. Handcrafted furniture depending on scope of needs can take 2 - 6 weeks to build. Recommended finishes are oil, shellac, varnish, urethane and wax. Upon completion I will deliver to your chosen location if within a 50 mile radius of Seattle. Remaining balance is due at this time of delivery. Outside of this area national carriers are used and only charge what they charge.
