Best experience with a contractor I had in a long time. Jordan fixed our furnace same day we called. Professional, knowledgeable, punctual, responsible, polite. Highly recommended. Thank you, Jordan. We’re very grateful for your help and won’t look anywhere else for furnace maintenance or replacement in the future. Thank you!

Jordan came to do maintenance on our furnace (last time it was done was 5 years previously by his father who has, sadly, passed away) and replace our thermostat. While here, I asked him about looking at our gas fireplace as well. He took care of everything neatly and quickly. When replacing the thermostat he brought what I asked (programmable but not fancy high tech) and carefully went through everything with me while setting it up after installing. We were totally happy with his work, knowledge and sharing of that knowledge. Cost includes $100 for thermostat.

Furnace Aid delivered exceptional service when they recently replaced a furnace that had unexpectedly been shut down by PSE for a mechanical failure. Our rep, Jordan, was not only wicked-smart (computer science degree in addition to the family business!), but incredibly responsive, honest, and hard working. Knowing that our furnace woes had interrupted a planned vacation, Jordan went out of his way to prioritize our job and added our install to the end of a long day, which meant that he worked past Midnight! He literally saved our vacation with his positive attitude, great customer service, and amazing work ethic. We found their pricing to be the best as well, and love supporting a family-owned, local business! We will only use them now for service and also call them for our water heater when we need to replace this!

The day before Thanksgiving, our furnace stopped working. I called Furnace Aid and the same day Jordan came out and started the furnace back up. He showed me some signs that indicated that the furnace would not be working for long. Sure enough, two days later it stopped completely. Jordan suggested a basic replacement, but we wanted a high efficiency unit. Jordan recommended the lowest priced option and that is what we got. The cost was reduced by what we paid for the previous call. There was an electrical problem that came up during the replacement, but it was solved and now we have better heat than before!

Jordan was here for an hour, testing with his equipment, listening to the duct work and furnace, and he did it as a courtesy. He gave me some suggestions which I will present to my current heating company. I was grateful for his efforts and impressed with his willingness to help me out.

I called Furnace Aid to have them inspect and service our furnace and water tank having just moved into a new house. Despite fully expecting to have to carry out replacements due to the age of both items, Skip gave them a thorough inspection and advised us that they looked in good order with no replacements necessary (besides a filthy furnace filter!). He said that he could replace them if we really wanted, but that he was not looking to take our money unnecessarily (which makes a nice change from some other service providers...).
Skip was able to come over the same day I spoke to him, was punctual and professional, and refreshingly honest. Would definitely recommend, and will certainly use again.

Skip responded quickly. He was easy to deal with, friendly and thorough. We plan to hire Skip in the Fall to do a Furnace
cleaning (including pulling blower).

Our furnace stopped providing heat after a power outage. This company had serviced the furnace for several years before we bought the house, so we figured the former owners were pretty satisfied with the quality of work. I called them on a Friday afternoon and Skip was there in a few hours. The work was done quickly and the price was very reasonable. So glad we won't be freezing tonight!

This is a one man show and he is absolutely fantastic. His wife was actually the first one I made contact with when I called to make an appointment as Skip was on another call. He responded promptly and was able to fit me in within days. He came early and was extremely pleasant. My husband was impressed with the thoroughness of his service and his attention to detail - I have not had the same experience with larger service companies. Skip also inspected our water heater, did not try to upsell or make any sales pitches. He actually told us not to replace our heater, that it was in great shape and he recommended that when we do have to replace it, to stick with the kind we have because they are more reliable and last much longer than the on-demand versions.

Skip is well worth the wait. Be prepared for him to get busy come fall and winter.

Skip is a awesome, he's fastidious, smart, has a great (dry) sense of humor and outlook. He's also amazingly honest in a business where that's not a requirement. As he was wrapping up our service, he mentioned that he wouldn't need to come back for at least 2 years or more... I would have readily agreed to have him back in 12 months, but he's not trying to maximize his revenue. He's worked at two of our houses now and we'll use him for everything gas related for as long as he'll have us!

He did not charge for the visit because he said he didn't do anything. What honesty!

After waking up to a cold house and an unresponsive thermostat this morning, I called Skip at Furnace Aid on a friend's recommendation. After talking to Skip about the symptoms over the phone, he guessed at the problem but I told him I didn't think that was it for a variety of reasons.
Despite a busy schedule he was able to stop by this afternoon, and sure enough his initial diagnosis was spot on. He got the furnace working again and was on his way in under an hour, and charged a very fair price for the service.
I would definitely recommend Furnace Aid, and will be calling them myself the next time I need service.

Skip had serviced our furnace at another location in Kirkland and we weren't sure if he covered our new home in Woodinville. Thankfully he did. We have a furnace that we were told was nearing end of life and trusted that Skip would give us the skinny on whether that was true. Skip gave our old furnace the once over, answered my plethora of questions and didn't try to sell us a new furnace. He also showed me how to operate it and found a crack in parts that another well known vendor had not found (to our knowledge). He was able to get the parts covered under a warranty that was about to expire. We don't need to purchase a new furnace and should be in good shape for many years to come. Skip is a pretty busy one-person operation so you will need to be patient, but he's worth the wait.

The furnace is relatively new and has been maintained regularly, so ther service was pretty routine. Furnace Aid arrived on schedule and performed the work quickly. Based on the time spent, I thought the price was reasonable. I will use them again.

Skip came out to look at our furnace as the blower would not start to push heat through the house. I have used Furnace Aid in the past and Skip did a great job at a very fair price so we called him again. Skip arrived at the house exactly when he said he would and started to evaluate the problem. Ended up not being the blower motor but a capacitor that need to be replaced so he was done in a flash and the heat was back on. If that itself wasn't awesome enough, he wouldn't take any money for the part or the service call! Skip is one of those rare service providers that does the right thing for his customers and I will be telling everyone I know to call Furnace Aid when they need any HVAC services.

Skip showed up on time and once again did a far better job than other companies try to up sell you on services that you don't need.

Skip arrived on time even early for the appointment. After describing what had happened, he declared it was a seized motor, and got to work. He previously fixed the ignitor. He seems to know exactly what is wrong without too much inspection. He also gave some good advice about the furnace and possible repairs that it may need and options.

My whole family has used them for about ten years. Skip, the owner, is extremely honest with his assessments and he doesn't try and convince you that new equipment is needed. He is knowledgeable about a wide range of systems; we have used him in five different homes and he has never been stumped by a system. We have used him to replace systems, troubleshoot, and annual maintenance. He is very reasonable and he will come at odd hours. He is a rare bird.
