AMERICAN PROSCAPES

We had American Pro-Scapes do $10,000 dollars in landscape work in the fall of 2017 which included a new drain, irrigation, and creating a few pathways and some planting. We were happy with the initial work - with exception that the owner himself planted the wrong tree in our yard - the only item we had been specific about from the beginning. We also started a monthly maintenance plan to manage our beds and shrubs - edging, weeding, pruning for $200/month. Seemed pricey but I was hopeful that the service would be fantastic. We hired them so we wouldn't have to think about the landscaping, and I had to spend more time managing them than had we done it ourselves. They regularly ignored part of our lawn, left weeds in other areas and left several trees and bushes untrimmed for months until I had to specifically point them out and only spent on average 45 minutes of time each month ( that was 1 and sometimes 2 employees). I understand overlooking things once in a while and do not fault the employees but the communication from the owner was horrendous - I had to initiate every communication whether it be inquiring about the replacement tree, or pointing out areas overlooked and there was barely an apology given. The owner does not seem to care about customer service at all.

I called Nathan. He promptly came and provided a verbal bid. We agreed and I signed a contract. The work began the following week and he completed it in two days.

Nathan responded quickly to my email request for a quote and came out the next day. He discussed options for the problem I was having, including just keeping the lawn/driveway border trimmed better (which would have resulted in a smaller job for him). We discussed pricing and he provided a written quote by email the next day. I returned it, he scheduled the job within two weeks and they finished in less than two days.

American ProScapes did a great job. They showed up on time. They worked efficiently and in the time frame they quoted. They cleaned up area very well and it looks great!
