Roofing
My primary issue with the company was that two weeks after the job was done and he was paid, I went into my attic and was surprised to see heaping piles of shingles. I was shocked. I trusted them and really didn't think they would do that. I called a couple of times and left a message with the secretary but did not receive a response.
I went to the construction company's office and the owner was there. I tried to talk to him about the shingles in my attic but he did not want to talk about it, kind of ignoring me. When he finally did respond he was very gruff with his actions, towering over me and backing me out the door, saying that I would need to sign a release to have him remove the shingles and that I would have to pay him to do it. He was rude and intimidating. After that I wrote one fruitless letter to the company.
It was about 4 months after my last contact with the company, it was raining pretty heavily, I went out my front door and the roof to the porch was leaking. Once again I was shocked. I didn't even bother calling the company.
Moral of the story is I paid $12,000.00 to have my roof replaced, they threw a lot of the shingles in my attic instead of disposing of them, I have a leaky porch roof, and I traded someone a $500.00 car to remove the shingles from my attic.
