They recently bought out an outlet around here called Lumbermens. Almost every town in the north west had a Lumbermens hardware store. They bought them out two or three years ago. I'm thinking here is a big company eating up all the little guys. But, they seemed very pleasant people and our experience was very good with them. They found windows and gave me a good price on windows. The people that wanted to put in windows said $9700 for 15 windows. This is to install them. The other guy was Home Depot and he wanted $8000. We bought six windows for $1700 and put them in ourselves. A friend told me if you can change a tire, you can put in a window. My wife is 70 and I'm 80 and we did it ourselves. Anyway, Probuild had good windows, a good price and good service. They delivered them for free. They didn't charge us any more to deliver it. The windows we got are called Ply Gem. They're pretty good windows. These are vinyl, double glazed, double hung windows. About probably 07 or 08, my wife had just come back from a trip to Australia and she brings me a quaint purse. The quaint purse looked like a concertina, little round accordion and you twist it and it opened up and you twist it back and it would fall flat. It was made out of kangaroo skin. I'm in there one day and I'm showing it to everybody because it was so nerdy and so neat and I left it on the counter. I'm in there a couple of days later and a kid comes over and says, "I think you left your quaint purse," and he hands it to me with all the money still in it. I gave him $5. This is why I have a great opinion of that place. Their prices are very good. The manager gave me a nice discount. After we bought the windows, we bought lumber to make frames for the outside around the windows. He gave me a contractor's price on that and I'm not a contractor, I'm just an old man who likes to play with wood. I couldn't find a complaint about those guys if I even tried. They're just so helpful and they're local guys too.
Description of Work: We bought windows from them.
