WILLAPA VETERINARY SVC

We received help for our dog from the relief vet. Went in because he is unstable and cant support his hind legs. First of all she didnt check his temperature or any other vitals. She haphazardly checked his heart beat as an afterthought just before we left. She couldn't get his heart beat because he was shaking so she gave up. She couldn't get a response from him for a slipped disc, joint pain, or hip issues so she just gave us an NSAI, which isn't a bad move, but she wrote in "slipped disc" on his file as if she knew what was wrong. He couldn't urinate or defecate the day after so she prescribed a steroid drug after selling us the 160 dollar NSAI the day before (smallest bottle they offered). When we went back for the steroid drug she asked why we didn't buy the smallest bottle, we weren't offered a smaller bottle and she didn't recommend any specific size bottle herself in the first place. The worst part is she tried teaching us a method of calming him down and making him feel better, it was a scientology thing. I'm all about freedom of religion but she is treating people's animals with her religion and teaching others as if it were a legitimate veterinarian practice. She actually tried teaching my gf the technique because she is on her path to becoming a vet too. I will never take him animal into her care again, she's not thorough, not helpful, and likely harmful.
