I took the day off so I could be there when they started the project and he didn't show and never contacted me. Had to call and get new start date. He shifted the start date with letting me know Was supposed to use stainless nails and did not. He did adjust the price by $100 after I noticed that he'd used all galvanized nails. I was not happy that the stainless nails weren't used. Gates had big gap between gate and post. He did fix this when I asked him to come back. He damaged my neighbors fence and when I complained he partially repaired what he damaged. Instead of calling again I completed the repair myself.

Did a fantastic job.

It went well.  Lots of Rain.  The first schedule start was changed due to another job interference.  They contacted us by email rather than by phone with the delay.  Wasn't happy with that.  
Their workers were very friendly and got the job done.   One day or more we only had one worker on site.  Again...pooring down rain.  He was there very late the last night.  Was in a hurry.  Waited several days for them to come back to pick up materials.
But he was a hard worker.  
The owner was very courteous and outgoing.
When they were done the owner came and asked if they had missed anything or if we weren't happy what else could they fix.
It wasn't till later we found several boards not nailed.  Had to go back and make sure they were all secured.  Quality was okay,
Overall they did a good job.

He was easy to talk to and handled an awkward neighbor situation very professionally.

Dan did the work himself on the fence and we were led to believe he would also do the porch.
He did not and the subcontractor seemed uncertain about what he was doing.
On the porch,the railing is almost 40 inches high on the deck, dropping down to 36 inches high at the bottom of the stairs,  the screws attaching the top boards are sticking out the side of the stringer on some porch stairs and some risers are popping out. I emailed Dan several times this spring to say I had concerns, and did not receive a reply.I tried again in September, thinking his busy season was over, and he set up two times to come over and do repairs, and cancelled both. He will not reply to my email or messages left on his phone.

Dan was awesome. We needed two more dry stack walls in our yard and it was up in less than a day. We spoke to about seven different contractors (a lot from Angie's List) who either never replied, never showed up, or just flat out tried to rip us off. We were quoted as high as $17, 750 ( Mill Creek Landscape) for the same job because they told us they needed a large crew, heavy machinery, and about a week to do it. Dan and his right hand man (forgive me but his name escapes me) showed up (on time) with just a few tools and their radio. The walls were beautiful and they even touched up the one my husband did with his father and friend. I would recommend these guys and use them in the future.

Dan was responsive, quick and most of all reasonable priced.  We will use him again in the future and was impressed with his professionalism! If you want a great professional in the business HIRE Escapes!

Dan and his crew were impressive from the start.  His bid was fair and clearly spelled out, unlike some of the other bids I got.Dan went out of his way to fit my project into his tight schedule and do the job just the way I requested it.  He and his crew were very careful with my garden plants.  Other fence companies just told me "well, there'll be some casualties.  That's just the way it goes."  Not with Dan's crew!  On top of everything, they stayed late after working a long day, to build an extra gate that was not in our original agreement.  Professional, polite, what more could you ask for?  I highly recommend this company!  A++

Within weeks the lawn became flooded and turned to mud.  We called him, he came out and laid down another drain, said he'd be back in the spring to deal with the lawn and the mud.  We never saw him again, he never returned our calls.  We took him to small claims court and won, he never showed.  We have not seen a penny of the judgement and are taking him to collections.
 We recently had the drains re-done by a very reputable landscape company.  They called us outside many times to show us how the drains were never hooked up properly to the drainage system and how the last drain that he laid was hooked up to nothing.  He just laid a drain down in the middle of the mud and did not hook it up to any drainage pipes.  During the time that he was here working for us he went to our neighbors to drum up business, cut our neighbors tree down on our time.  The young boy he brought worked very hard as did his adult worker.  The only thing we can say he did right was fix some steps we had in our backyard. 

They were very punctual. They got back to me with the estimated information. The fence looks good. The initial concern was that they estimated a gap at the bottom, but they addressed it right away with the additional material and filled up the gap. I do not have any problems. I would use them again in the future

They were great. The price was great compared to other bids, the work was done promptly, and it was well-done.
