Bills Roofing Inc. did a re-roof for me in 2007 on a house built in 1992. By 2015 my entire roof had rotted,including the trusses and plywood causing damage to the siding,walls and ceiling.There is mold in at least one ceiling panel where the paint has peeled and cracked and I am unsure of the condition of the insulation.Other panels are tipping with screws coming through.There is possible damage to the under flooring from moisture running down inside the walls,rotting along the base of the main retaining wall and outside walls where water ran down the rafters.They would not honor their warranty but did say it was due to a faulty ridge vent with lawsuits against the manufacturer.I have since found this to be untrue. I had them replace 1/2 the roof after having another company replace the 1/2 actively leaking.This ridge vent was also installed incorrectly by Bill`s Roofing which caused additional damage to the items above.I had to get a a home inspector when I could not get the house to dry even after having two mature pines removed. I was charged $700 more for another ridge vent that had to be installed by them or void the warranty.They collected a credit card charge that should have been discussed before work started.They failed to show up for scheduled repairs and drug the work out for months.I asked to see photos of the damage and was denied twice.This roof has cost me nearly four times what a new roof should have cost.This does not include any damage to inside the home or siding. That is just the roof. All in less than 8 years.This has been and continues to be a financial and emotional hardship.A home is probably your greatest asset and these were not the people to trust it to.
