Sam and Miguel were a delight to work with. Our roof flashing led to damage and dry rot. They restored the structure, siding, and roof, and did so quickly and at a reasonable price. They always kept us updated on the schedule, and we appreciated having this good work done by two very nice gentlemen. Weâ ll be repeat customers for another project.

Sam and Miguel replaced a 75ft section of our back yard fence which had deteriorated over the years. Their design, attention to detail, and superior craftsmanship left us with an impressive fence of the highest quality not only on our side but also on the side facing our neighbor's house. The workmanship, and high quality materials they utilized on this project will help make this improvement last a number of years. I highly recommend Sam and and would employ him again!

First Impression Construction was a pleasure to work with from the beginning all the way through completion of the project. Good communication on scheduling, up front about additional damage found once the siding was removed, and clear about total cost of the project. They fixed earthquake strapping that the original builder installed wrong which caused the siding to bow out. Also replaced some cracked and rotted trim, and trimmed the windows and patio door, all in rot proof hardi plank. The end result is excellent, and they did it all very quickly and didn't leave a mess behind. I will definitely keep them in mind for future carpentry work, their workmanship is excellent and the results look fabulous. They answered all of my questions, even when the answer wasn't good news, explained why different work needed to be done, and gave options on items that allowed me to shave some costs off the overall project. Couldn't ask for a friendlier or more conscientious crew.

Fence repair was done in a timely mannerand looks wonderful.

Sam is awsome when it comes to honesty integrity and a good vibe , Sam is the guy He showed up on time He even made sure I was ok with every step of the project and my grand son was under foot the whole time, so Sam let him Carry his tools the only issue was I got the wrong sea foam green paint but Sam some how pulled it off and the counter tops and flooring turned out way better than I expected He is a blessing .

Sam is not a contractor. Very poor quality work and there is no finish to his work. When he makes a mistake {and there have been a few} he has some excuse and blame it on others. He does not show up when he is supposed to and drags out the work. Before the job was completed he said he was going to California for 2 weeks and would come back to finish the job. After 3 weeks of not hearing from him, I did reach him on the phone and he said he is still in California and that I should just get someone else to finish the job. He might be able to put up a fence but he is no good at doing inside quality work. If I could give him a zero star I would.

We needed several days of carpentry work done on short notice when the guys who came to replace our gutters found significant rotting wood in our walls. They recommended Sam Mireles at First Impression, and he did an amazing job for us. Starting the next day, he carefully removed our siding and shingles, determined the extent of the water damage, removed damaged plywood, framing etc. and then put it all back together. He was a pleasure to work with, had the right power and other tools and experience for the job, discussed all decisions and recommendations with us, and showed attention to detail which we appreciated. He replaced all of the rotten plywood and framing, re-used the siding and shingles, and caulked to seal it up so that we're now ready to paint. His price was very reasonable, particularly given that he commuted from Gold Bar to Mercer Island each day. We couldn't be happier with his work, will recommend him to our friends, and will definitely have him back the next time we need a carpenter. Highly recommended!

Sam is the very best carpenter that I have ever worked with. Super knowledgeable, friendly and goes the "extra mile" to be sure the customer is satisfied. Always on time and throws in some "freebies". He has done a 730 sq ft composite deck as well as enlarged the opening for a single 18 X 8 garage door. I recommend him highly.

Sam and his assistant did a great job of repairing my deck and securing the gazebo as it had no support under the legs and it is sitting on the deck. He showed up when he said he would; finished the project ahead of time and kept me updated on the project. He has a life time warranty on his work. I would recommend Sam for any exterior project you have.

We hired Sam for 3 projects. Once to do some paint touch ups on the house then to build a brand new composite deck, refresh a BBQ area, and finally to build a decorative safety railing and privacy screens . Sam's work is refined and has a great finish to it. He worked with us on our requirements and didnt mind us checking-in on progress of work to make sure we're all aligned. I highly recommend FirstImpressions. They walked the project with me; listened to my goals for the deck replacement and made on the job suggestions as the project was in motion. The team worked very hard and used exceptional materials from the ground up to build a new composite deck (replaced rotted wood deck) and added power and bistro lights to create a great outdoor space! The retaining wall is attractive and functional. Guests always comment on how all the finish details are of high quality!

Gave Sam my idea of a bedroom remodel. He went with it but also added some of his ideas and it turned out even better. Love it.
