Description of Work: Northwest Decks assisted us to design the deck. (Trex/aluminum railings) Provided an estimate. The person responsible for scheduling and ordering materials made mistakes. The deck was not started when promised and the material ordered was not the color we picked. Both the start date and the material colors were in the contract and the estimate. We requested no changes after the contract was agreed to. The builders were outstanding workers - very professional work. We are extremely pleased with the work. I can highly recommend NW Decks. My advice is to double check the schedule and confirm that they have ordered the correct materials. The important part - namely the workmanship and the professionalism of both the designer and the builders is excellent. They are a small company and they are very busy for good reason. We got 3 estimates - all were similar in price but NW Decks provided the best assistance in design, appearence and function. Their specialty is decks and it shows.

 + -1 moreIf you want a job well done with a professional hardworking crew that shows up in time, does an excellent job for a fair price and cleans up, than without hesitation I would highly recommend Northwest Decks. My expectations were high and I received exactly what I wanted. I am extremely pleased with the entire job.
Description of Work: Demolished and hauled away old deck. Built new and larger deck.

 + -1 moreDoug, Sherri and their Crew did an outstanding job. 1. Rebuilt our existing lower cedar deck with Trex. Added a few amenities like Trex benches. Beautiful. 2. Rebuilt our upper-rear-deck to have a Duradek surface. Beautiful. 3. Replaced the solid wood upper-rear-deck rail with a tempered glass system. Now I can see my whole garden all day long. Beautiful. The bottom line: Doug is a stickler for detail. Get in their job-queue if you want a quality job done right, on schedule, and at a reasonable price.

 + -1 moreThe deterioration in the structure below the porch floor was worse than estimated requiring considerable more time and materials (and 30% added cost). The crew of Adam and Leo did a great job on this 1914 vintage home that required lifting several columns in order to replace the decking. They ended up having to custom build bases for 7 columns and took care in ensuring top fit and quality in the finished job. Note: work was initially performed starting in Mid July 2012. The return the following year was to close some gaps in the column bases, at no charge.
Description of Work: Rebuilt wrap-around porch deck and substructure.

The new deck is beautifully done, on time and very close to the estimated price. This is an impressive company that's wonderful to work with.
