McNellis Joseph & Son's Concrete

Joe came over for a bid.  He helped me figure out the best solution to my broken driveway. Roots had heaved up the concrete driveway in places.  To keep cost controlled he helped me figure out how I could do the demolition and some prep work.  Even though he has many jobs waiting, he worked us in to meet our schedule.  His crew arrived on time and were very professional and personable in their work.  No question I'm calling him back if I need more concrete work.

The crew was punctional and they were very responsive to any questions we had.  They did a superb job and we would definately use them again for any concrete work.  Thank you!

Joe visited and provided an estimate. He helped shape my expectations by explaining what he could do with the space and budget available. Up front he explained where my project fell in the overall priority of his ongoing projects. Methodically it all came together with a great parking area. I had him install two 6x6's for a future wood gate. He recommended I not sink the posts into the cement but I didn't want to use a metal fastener for the posts so he did what I asked and placed the posts in the cement. I would contact him again for all my cement needs.

had problems with leakage during the winter, so Joe gave it some thought and some good ideas about how to improve the drainage very simply and inexpensively. He come out and was able to work on it efficiently and in the amount of time he had planned. It looks beautiful now that there is a new floor and sides large and stable enough to hold big rocks and concrete.. We are currently putting up the rock walls and it really feels solid and with a good strong footing. He was extremely professional yet nice and just someone you would not hesitate to have come again to help you out with any cement project. They did a great job cleaning up and even left me some stepping stones made from the extra cement if I wanted them (who doesn't!)

This project occurred during the early spring rainy season so we had to wait about a week for the right timing to pour concrete. Joe was responsive to my email questions. We set up a start date and he showed up on time to prep the drive way area for the pour. They scraped off surface gravel and dirt and set the forms in for final pour. When the weather cooperated their crew was there to receive the concrete truck and pour and finish the two slabs. I followed their instructions for curing and am happy about the outcome.
Their is some cracking occurring down the center (lenghtwise) of the upper 16'x26'.

It was excellent. I liked he workmanship, the timeliness and the pleasant people we dealt with.
