So I stupidly did not account for the necessary lead time when getting bids to replace my blinds after my windows were replaced. Of all the contractors I had submit bids, only Jeff said he could meet my timeline. He actually installed my new binds sooner than he committed.

We initially called them because they're the only polywood dealer in the area, and we had good experience with the brand elsewhere.  They sold us on a different brand instead as it seems superior for this climate and our larger windows.  Install went fine and we're generally happy with the shutters.  No problems after 18 months.

We dealt with Harboview Blinds twice.  Bob met us at our house, that was still under construction, and measured and suggested shutters and blinds that would accent our "lodge" look of the house.  We purchased shutters and blinds for the front and master bedroom on the first contact.  The second contact was where we purchased the rest of the shutters and blinds for the house.  Bob was superior in both contacts...very professional, courteous, prompt and open to suggestions and comments.  The quote was provided either that day or the next day.  From contacting other blind companies, Harborview was right in the ball park as far as pricing.  We feel that we definitely got our money's worth purchasing from Harborview Blinds.  We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Eight months ago ordered blinds and roller shades.  Bob was very helpful in offering suggestions as to what type of window covering would work best.  He recommended roller shades for back of house as we did not want something obstructing view, but wanted some privacy at times, as well as protection from sun in summer.  I was not sure I would like them, but love them.  I did not order for 3 windows as at the time of first order was not sure how I would like roller shades, but just had remaining windows covered with roller shades and love them.  I had gotten estimates from the two other companies that you would think have cheaper prices, but Harborview was considerably  cheaper than either of the others, and Bob gave me ideas where the other two companies offered no suggestions on windows I did not know what to do with.  Installers were also great, friendly, took off shoes without me asking.  I would highly recommend them, and would use again if I have the need.

Bob of Harborview came to my home to measure for blinds and shades in my living room/dining room and three bedrooms. I knew pretty much what I wanted, but even then there were a lots of choices. Bob was very knowledgable, didn't try to upsell me, and was able to answer my questions so I could make an informed decision. I chose solar shades for the living/dining rooms with a valance at the top to hide the mechanisms - there is a slider and three 70" by 60" windows in this area. I face east on the water so sun has been a problem in the afternoons and the mesh shades preserve my view and yet cut down on the glare. The bedrooms were two 60x50" winsows and one 70x50. For those I chose 2 1/2 real wood blinds with a cornice on top. I would definitely recommend this business.  They service a large area and apparently their estimators/installers for the east side and north seattle are different from those who did my work.
