Provided a price estimate that we paid them $ 3,000.00 for that was to be accurate and a time line of (3) months to finish. After three months, the project was only 75% complete and we had paid them the full amount of the original contract including all agreed upon change orders. They then submitted another cost estimate of approx. $50,000.00 to finish the project. We told them to desist and we hired another contractor to finish the job for only $15,000.00. We obviously went into litigation over the original amount, the quality of the work, which upon close inspection was deficient to the point of having to pay the new contractor an extra $6,500.00 to repair, and the final bill. I would never recommend this contractor because: 1. they gave us an inaccurate estimate; 2. they performed the work in an inefficient and slow manner; 3. the work was done poorly; 4. job supervision was almost non-existent, and 5. they tried to extract extra money at the end that they were not owed due to their own incompetence. We have since found out that they have also had several other instances of their shoddy work causing clients to take them to litigation.
