ISLAND ROOFING SYSTEMS

Advertised they would clean roof and gutters and apply zinc oxide to
protect against mildew and mold.  This was an offer through Groupon. It
took MONThs to get in touch with them. Finally scheduled an appt. Two
men came out and immediately told me the roof on the house was larger
than the deal offered. I told them then they could forget it and I would
get a refund. One of the men quickly told me that since he was a nice
guy, they would do the whole roof for no additional charge.  I was
expecing a power wash on the roof, but mostly they just used a leaf
blower, then briefly wet down the roof.  They applied a thin line of the
z.oxide, packed up their things and left...one of the "selling points"
was they would clean up...they did not, and the gutters were still full.
I called numerous times to complain, but never returned my call...

I have called him so many times in the last year because it is still leaking. I have left messages saying I’m going to take him to small claims court because now my roof is molding where it’s leaking. I’ve had another roofer come out and it is going to cost me so much money to repair it because I live in a log home and the log under is leaking and molding and they have to take the whole roof off to repair it. He finally called me back over a year and left a message. He was supposed to put in a flat skylight because they don’t leak as much and would change the flashing, but within two weeks, it was leaking. He said even if he had said that, he can’t come out to my home because he’s too busy.
