The job was done quickly. The crew was nice. The price was great. Looks good and zero leaks. Does not sound loud when it rains (that what most people ask me about).

All the worrying issues that might come up with a three-layer tear-off of a 100 year-old house (1600 sq ft) and carriage house were skillfully taken care of: rot, boards and soffits that needed to be replaced, adding venting that older construction lacks, dealing with a couple of ants nests, and so forth. My neighbors on either side consented to give the roofers access; they left the yards pristine at the end of every day, and when they were finished with the roof, the front and sides of my home were cleaner then when they first arrived. I was so impressed with Tom, the foreman: great communication, kindness, very knowledgeable; he kept me apprised of issues every step of the way. I knew there would be problems, because I had had a leak, and part of a downstairs ceiling had fallen in. Plus, I wanted venting boards (proper term?) added across both roofs. The extra repairs were far more reasonable than anticipated (they didn't even charge for for some of them). For two premium 40-year roofs, the final cost with tax was $20,434. If I'm still around in 40-years, I will definitely use Rainshield for my next roof!

The two man crew were on site when they said they would be, and they worked consistently while on the job. They completed the job in about five days. They were good about covering the roof when interrupted by rain, and left my property clean at the end of the job.

They were initially booked out a couple months, but were worth the wait. Great crew, finished in a timely manner, cleaned up everyday befo ex they left. Even after the install there were some wind storms and they came back to check and make,sure all was good.

The crew members were very concentrated on their work and well organized in their distribution of tasks. Was great that they cleaned as then went along. I would highly recommend them.

Went well . They finished the job within 3 days. Just in time as I was hit with a big snow storm after they were done. 2½ ft of snow. I didn't like finding cigarette butts on my sidewalk tho. I know it was them as no one in my home smokes nor in my neighborhood. If you are sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke I would try someone else. The "foreman" was smelling heavily of it.

Positives: the workers were very professional and the foreman kept me updated each day. They ran into inclement weather so they only stripped the roof and put the new roof in, in what they could do before the weather turned nasty. Took about two weeks, but at least my roof was always protected. They also did a maintenance check of other things pertaining to the roof. Cleaned up each day; cleaned out my gutters too. Looks really good now! Cons: took about 6 months to finally start the work. Not much communication from the office unless I did the emailing or calling. I get that it took that long due to weather, but would have liked to be kept in the loop a bit more.

We noticed the leak on the morning of President's day, of course on a holiday. Immediately went on Angie's list and called the best reviewed contractors. Rainshield responded first, Debbie answered the phone, and within 2 hours had 2 pros out to our house (Jasper and Chad, not sure if names are spelled correctly). They investigated very thoroughly, went into the attic (i had ladders ready and the access cleared for them) and on the roof of course, concluded the leak originated from around the skylights. Fixed the leak temporarily and submitted estimate a day later as promised (Rick). We set up a day for the repair and the same pros showed up, on time, worked a full day and did an awesome job. I went on the roof a few times and they demonstrated in detail what they had done, included some extras that were not on the bid, thank you.
Clean up was immaculate (i usually prepare for some time after contractors leave to clean up myself, but not necessary with this company).
I then called to pay the bill in full over the phone to uphold my end of the bargain and it was all done.
I would recommend Rainshield to anybody who wants quality work done.

They took some short cuts in regard to the project and it took too long for them to do the job. They also did not order enough materials and they had to order materials twice. In addition to that, they came out and provided a quote and after they started the work they suggested something that needed to be done--it was something that should have been immediately obvious to them. They also wanted to charge extra for it.

We a remodeling a home, and new windows leaked when seasonal rain started. We had same day service to secure and stop leak and within a week crew was here to install new siding to permanently stop problem. All workers were professional and very courteous and prompt. We were storing a new kitchen in garage where leak was infiltrating causing huge stress. Rainshield responded immediately and took care of it saving us potentially thousands of dollars in damages.

Extremely well. They asked when anything looked questionable or out of contract. Finished early and at estimate. Courteous and professional. Replaced a very old outdoor thermometer they broke, unnecessary as it was on last legs, but indicative of their quality.

In our appointments, their representative was always punctual, professional, and exceedingly polite. All of the employees we came in contact with were professional and pleasant, the crew that did the work was above reproach. The work was finished ahead of schedule and they cleaned up all debris they caused in their work. The perimeter of our home and grounds look as good as they did before the work was started.
