Description of Work: We contacted this business for an estimate on a bathroom remodel It took a few phone calls to get someone to respond and come out We got an estimate that was vague - nothing really broken out - we weren't sure what was actually included in it had to call to clarify if it even included the shower wall and the type of material being used we did know that it did not include any of the plumbing, toilet, tub or sinks - and it was - almost to the penny the amount we had set aside for the entire project - I was sorry that I disclosed this to guy- but he asked It even took a long time and follow up phone calls to get the estimate. Your software needs updating I was forced to put in a date of service and amount even thought I said no to services performed

+ 0 moreAll went well they did as planned, communicated well, very pleased. Tudor style house on a hill with many challenges they tackled knew exactly what to do, no mess.
Description of Work: Shake roof, outstanding job, very professional, used this company because I had seen the work done next door to me and compared with other roof done in the area.

+ -1 moreWe met with him and we clearly detailed in writing,what we wanted for each of the rooms. This included drawings as well. We then got an estimate from him and 2 other contractors. His estimate was in the middle. He was also able to start within 2 weeks. For that reason, we decided to go with him. Even though he told us he could start within 2 weeks, he did not actually start for a month. The project was delayed and a lot of things that should have been included in the estimate that he gave us, such as heating vents, etc., he came back later and said they were not included. We had the attic remodeled and we had discussed a staircase leading to the attic. After the project was started,however, he stated the staircase was not included and he then advised us it would cost an additional $13,000 to have the staircase installed. There is no point in having an attic remodeled for extra living space if you do not have access to it so we really did not have any choice. The project ended up costing 50 - 75% more than the original estimate despite the fact that we had very minimal changes made after the estimate was provided.
Description of Work: He remodeled three bathrooms and the attic.
