First of all, this is likely the BEST shopping experience I can ever remember (and I'm almost 68!). It is entirely due to your Puyallup, WA store employee - Rod Woodard. I went in with my son who was letting me use my Grandson's compound bow. Since my Grandson & I have vastly different body characteristics, I had to have it adjusted before I could use it in a Spring Turkey hunt at the end of April. Now, I have never bow hunted, so what followed was ALL new to me. I spent at least an hour with Rod, and enjoyed every minute of it. He was professional, funny, friendly, thorough, patient and the finest store employee I have ever had the pleasure to work with. After taking measurements of me, he adjusted the bow pull and sighting. We then went to the store's indoor range where he gave me a quick lesson on how to shoot a compound bow. After a couple of arrows he showed me what I was doing wrong (ever-so politely, and with a smile). I then tried a couple more arrows. After that he adjusted the sight, gave me some more pointers, and then I shot more arrows. For the next 15 or so minutes, we repeated the process, including adjustment of the pull. After that we talked about the hunting area I was going to...a place he had bow hunted before. He gave pointers on where and how to hunt that area. He then prepared the arrows I would need, and advised my son and I on which practice and hunting tips would work best. During our time with him we got entertained with many funny stories, and we reciprocated. Bottom line....Rod is absolutely the best, and I will always go to him for any hunting/shooting advice and assistance I need. I will even call the store to make sure he is there. Mind you, your store in Puyallup is almost 16 miles (one way) from my home. Even so, I find it worth the time and effort to once again get the finest service one could want. My son, who lives in Puyallup, is in your store frequently and says he always has an enjoyable experience, regardless of what he is there for. So, it appears to me you have one outstanding store, and an especially outstanding employee in Mr Rod Woodard. Thank you!
