 + -1 moreIt went okay. They were supposed to call to tell me what needed fixing on my sewing machine and give me an estimate on the repairs. I did not get a call when expected, so I called them. They were surprised that I called , but gave me the information and I okayed the repair. It was fixed very quickly. They notified me promptly when the repair was done and were very nice when I came to pick up my machine. I am so glad to have my sewing machine working again.
Description of Work: I took my sewing machine in to be repaired.

Description of Work: They provided me with a free ticket to the upcoming sewing craft in November. They help me keep up with the repair and upkeep with my vacuum and sewing machines. They've also got a group that you can join to get a percentage off of sewing tools and they give presentations of new products. It also helps to keep in touch with other members in the community.

 + 0 moreWe had a great experience. I called first and discussed the problem and cost with the repairman. He let me know the range of cost for the servicing and when he thought he could get the job done. We took the vacuum in and he told us he would put a stronger handle on the machine and that he could have it done that day and that we could get a loaner vacuum if we needed one--nice option if it is going to be awhile. The serviceman called and told me the brushes were in need of replacing if I wanted to have that done also but everything else was in great shape. The service was done that day and our vacuum works better than ever. The staff at the counter was also helpful and told us about their sewing machine servicing and classes that are offered.
Description of Work: Replaced a handle and brushes on our Simplicity vacuum cleaner.

Description of Work: I was looking for a Miele vacuum cleaner to replace an old canister vacuum. I was impressed with the salesman. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy at all. I was able to test the vacuum I was looking for right in the store. The salesman gave me a quote and I told him I needed some time to think about it, as it was a big purchase. After doing some research online, I concluded that this store offered the best price and services, and I ended up purchasing the Miele S8 Home Care vacuum. I had visited another Quality Sewing & Vacuum store and the Miele store, both located in Bellevue, but the service at Quality Sewing & Vacuum in Kirkland was much more personable. I ended up getting a great deal. I have already referred a friend to the store and she purchased a Miele canister vacuum there as well. I will definitely visit this store in the future, as they sell maintenance products and do service repairs. I am very pleased with my purchase.

 + -1 moreThe sales person saw that I was using heavy-duty thread with a normal needle. I bought some new needles and thread of the right sizes, and haven't had a broken thread since. They also told me of free sewing classes they conduct.
Description of Work: My sewing machine was breaking the thread when I tried sewing.
