I later found that he is not licensed or bonded to be a general contractor (or a owner's rep as he calls himself). He didn't ever finished the job. I still have light fixtures and outlets that haven't been installed even though he has been paid in full. He didn't pay a subcontractor and they put a lean on my house. He took extra money from the job than he was supposed to (he paid me for materials twice). Some of the work he did, was not sufficient (the outlets were crooked). He couldn't follow the plans from the architect and some outlets are in the wrong spot. He had to be called several times just to get him to do the work he promised to do, and he still didn't finish the work. He lied about his address when the attorney tried to serve him with papers to investigate my case. He refused to provide receipts to me and the attorney. He tried to tell me that something that was on the architect's plans were not. He got into an argument with the architect. The architect refused to work with him ever again.
