I bought this home and wanted my carpet replaced. I got estimates from a couple of big box stores and then my friend told me about AngiesList. Alex came out to do the bid and came in way under all the others I'd gotten. He was super friendly and educated me on all of my options. He is quite busy it seems but I didn't mind with the savings I was getting. Now that it is all done, I couldn't be happier about my new carpet. It looks (and feels) great! He was professional, came in and did the work, took all the scraps and cleaned up leaving the place perfectly vacuumed. I give him an A+.

Alex was great to work with. Had a home we were preparing for sale and needed new carpet. Contacted Alex and he was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the right product for our home.  He arrived day of install and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Alex!

When I initially spoke with Alex on the phone, he did a good job of setting expectations, explaining that even though it came from the same batch, the new carpet would not match the old because the old carpet had probably aged & gotten dirty. He showed up on time, and repaired both the carpet and the vinyl. We're happy with the job he did.

I found Alex on Angie's List.  He responded immediately and was one of 3 estimates I selected.  His estimate was most reasonable to us, and fair.  He came out to the house a couple of times prior to starting the work, to choose the tile for the bathrooms, and again to pick the carpet and color.  The vinyl installation in both bathrooms was done professionally and he did an excellent job.  I love it!  He also replaced the carpet down the hallway and in all 3 bedrooms.  The end result was beautiful, but I did have to bring a couple of concerns to his attention on the finishing work which he attended to immediately and resolved.  He left once and was gone for almost 2 hours and I believe he said he had to attend to another job issue.  He may have used part of that time for lunch, but not sure.  Regardless, this long absence didn't make me very happy.  However, we were satisfied with the results of the carpet and vinyl replacement, as well as his knowledge of real estate.  He was a very pleasant person to have in my house.

Part #1:  The bedroom job involved the master bedroom, two offices, a hallway, bathroom and a walk-in closet.  It also involved removing an existing built-in waterbed, with carpeted seating built in around three sides, and canter-levered night stands.   The light switch boxes on each side of the old bed had to be re-located to accomodate a higher replacement bed and new headboard/night-stand furniture.  Then it was necessary to repaint the bedroom.  We also had a hardwood base for a desk chair installed within an area of the new carpeting.  All of this was done by Carpet Services NW.
Part #2:  The hardwood flooring job in the hallway was complicated by the fact that it had to come out flush with a bathroom tile floor and an existing kitchen hardwood floor.  This required redoing the sub-floor.
Most of the work was done by owner Alex Sad, with occasional help from his father and an uncle.  Perhaps the most notable aspect of their performance was the price.  His price was an amazing 40% less another bidder that we had used on previous jobs and been very happy with.  Yet it is obvious we got very high quality carpeting (and padding).
In addition I would have to comment that I believe Alex is an extremely honest person.  If he makes a mistake, he won't try to hide it -- he'll tell you about it, and tell you how he's going to fix it.

They were on time, called ahead to verify. Came with a helper and rest retched living room rug in a very short time. Very efficient, professional, and friendly. I will recommend them to anyone.

Alex was great to deal with and the work was performed without a hitch.
In terms of price Alex was a few thousand cheaper than other quotes we received.
There were also no nickel and dime charges like removing carpet, dump fees, moving furniture etc- just one price for the complete job.
I can definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Carpet Services NW was incredibly responsive. I thought I would have to wait a week to schedule something, but he said he had an opening that afternoon. My wife was thrilled to have them come so quickly. The work completed was very professional, and we were so happy with the end results.

Alex is great to work with, he is talented and does great work, I would use him again.

I needed all the floors redone on a 1400 sq ft rental house. Alex responded promptly to a voice mail left on his phone. He was available the same day to look at the house. After taking measurements and showing me carpet samples, he gave me a bid that easily beat (one by more than $1000) the other two written bids I had received. Alex works alone, so he has low overhead. He worked for a flooring company for several years, and the past few years has been running his own flooring business. He took time to answer all my questions on the differences in carpet and how different floorings are installed. He finished the job when he said it would be done and gave me a professional invoice. I looked at the transition strips between the carpet/vinyl/slate and they were very good. I watched him do some the work while I was doing other work on the home and he took pride in his work, not taking any shortcuts. I have another rental where I will definitely be getting a bid from Alex again. I would be difficult for anyone to find a better value in flooring when using using Carpet Services NW.
