My 11 year old son and I had installed a satellite radio in my husband's Toyota Tacoma...it did work and he loved it but the installation looked like it had been done by a non-handy person and an 11 year old, which it had. I wanted to get it fixed up while he was out of town so I settled on Car Toys for the convenience of this location, despite some scary Car Toys reviews for various locations across the web. I dropped in first to get some options, I did not have the truck and the person working did not have the knowledge (and quot;You have to show it to an installerand quot;) so I came back with the truck the next morning. Luckily for me Joel was on duty. He gave me numerous options to mount the radio controller, and answered my questions about detailing. I had been wanting to get the truck cleaned up as well and Car Toys offers this too. I opted to just get everything done at once, it was all completed during that day. The radio was installed (correctly! ahhh!) and the truck wonderfully cleaned inside and our. I would stop short of saying it looks and quot;like newand quot; since it is five years old and is parked outside and only occasionally washed, but it looked AMAZING, better than I thought it could. Truly it went from raggedy to VERY respectable. So so shiny, and super clean inside, with the found items (and I though I had taken everything out- wrong! Joel will clean in places you didn't know existed!)) neatly bagged. I have only had detailing done once before on our other vehicle, I traveled out of my area for a and quot;Grouponand quot; to a detail-only place. Car Toys at their and quot;regularand quot; price was slightly more expensive (there is also a $12 lab fee and $28 and quot;enviroand quot; fee added- total with these plus radio install plus interior/exterior detail plus tax was $481) but much more thorough. Joel is extremely professional and pleasant to deal with as well. I plan to go back to Joel with our van to get my stero configured to play music from my phone and possibly get a back up camera installed for safety.

I walked in off the street, no appointment. The guys were able to fit me in and install my equipment in about 3 hours the same day. Very happy with the prompt service and great advice and install from Joel Christensen.

Over the next few days I realized that the Ipod cable was missing. On my next day off I went in and told them of this. That is when I was informed that It costs extra to hook that feature up, and since they forgot to tell me this at the time I was first there, they would only charge me $30.00 to hook it up. I reluctantly paid them to do this. After this was done I then realized that my radio controls on my steering wheel did not work. So on my next day off I went back to them and was told it was $200.00 to hook that up. I discussed it with the sales man Krishawn that I thought that was not right. He informed he that he told at the time of sale that the steering controls would not work with the new radio. I told him that if he did tell me that I would not have had the new radio put in. He did offer to install the parts for labor only at $90.00 then came down to $81.00. I then talked to his manager and he said he would have them do it for $70.00. I want this done at no charge.....

CAR TOYS INSTALLERS DID A FINE JOB WITH THE WORK THEY DID. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO SHOW US HOW TO PROPERLY WORK IT. THEY ALSO ALLOWED MY HUSBAND TO WATCH.
