Smith Lawn Services is a full-scale yard maintenance company providing landscaping services from basic mowing to customized special projects. We service the eastside of King County and have a loyal customer base who routinely refer us to their friends, family and colleagues. Nearly 1500 people have trusted their yards to us, and we value each of them!

The crew is good but the management is terrible. Jaron was supposed to complete our irrigation set up last year (2016) but did not do it until now inspite of reminders in fall 2016 and spring 2017. They scheduled to come work on it finally after 3 emails of mine and then Jaron does not turn up for the appointment. I get no call or email apologizing or to re-schedule. A month has past since and still no response even after 2 complaint emails and a call to their answering machine. They do not respond to phone calls either. I asked the crew for Jaron's number and they don't give it to you. Please spare yourself the stress and don't hire Smith Lawn services, let alone waste your time getting a quote from them. They probably won't turn up.

For years this company provided quality service.  I don't know if something happened recently because things started going bad in April 2011.  First the lawn on the side of our house was missed for several weeks.  Then any attempts to contact the company by phone or e-mail failed and they just stopped showing up.  I've notified them I want no more service but neither I or my credit card company have been able to get in touch with anyone from the provider.

Jaron was very quick to respond to my email requesting a bid. When I responded clarifying what I was looking for and that I would like to be home when they came to look at the lot to ensure expectations were clear, I did not hear back from them. Apparently they do not need the business as much as I need the help. Another item of note, I did contact them a couple years ago and they did come and take a look. I remember the verbal estimate seemed a bit out of reach, but the email quote did not come as promised. I remembered that once I saw Jaron's name since it is a little unusual.

"Clarifying that this person never hired us, and so cannot actually review our company's service, and cannot answer the question of whether they would hire us again because they never hired us in the first place. Money never exchanged hands. A work agreement was never made. Writing a bad review because we declined the opportunity to provide a service quote is a little bizarre. Angie's List should not even include this."
