Z & I Tree Service Co

Called for several estimates using Angies List providers.  Prices consistent but high.  Our Home Owners President recommended we get an estimate from Z&I. Their proposal was 30% lower.  The owners very friendly.  Crew of 5 showed up on time, were extremely efficient and did a thorough clean up.  Superb and friendly service

Z & I did a fantastic job!  We called them for an estimate and they provided that within days of requesting it.  Once we got the estimate they put us on the schedule for the following week. They arrived promptly on the day of tree removal and began work.  First they cut down the huge tree in our backyard. They ground up the small branches and cut the bigger ones into manageable size and stacked them for us.  They cleaned up before they went to the front yard.  The tree in the front yard was on the property line between two sections of wood fence. They did a great job of getting the tree down without damaging the fence.  Again, they ground up the small branches and cut the rest into manageable pieces.  They were friendly very professional from start to finish!

Cut and removed tall maple and they did such a great job that I called them back to take care of trees and brush including some lilacs.  Removed and trimmed shrubs around home.  Removed all debris quickly and efficiently.  Would highly recommend them.  Had one delay for second job because they had an emergency tree removal, but all worked out okay.

Went very well. Quickly came out to give estimates. Then were quickly able to schedule the work and get it done. Work was done well, in time, and included propoer post-work cleanup.

They gave a competitive quote and seemed quite competent. They came a day or two later to remove the bushes. They said the roots were larger than they had expected and that it would require stump grinders. They also quoted another price to come out with a stump grinder. I called them four or five different times after that and they would never return my calls. We paid them but they only did part of the job. They did a good job but never completed it. Their price was pretty good, but they did not honor it. I later contacted another service to get the job done.

The only slight complaint is that I had to call twice to get the date - but the estimate was done over labor day weekend, which was a plus, and the people were courteous, prompt, and cleaned up the debris excellently. The yard has more light, the nieghbor is happy, the tree looks great!

They showed up on time to do the estimate, friendly, professional. They were the low bid, which we usually avoid, but thanks to this list I decided not to go with the other choice since Z&I had a much better rating. They showed up to do the work on time, everything was cleaned up & tidy when they left. The trees look great, and I have chips for free! A good experience, overall. Would recommend to anyone.

Everything has gone very well. They are very professional and they do a great job. They have proven themselves to be very efficient, and they leave everything so nice and clean that you can?t even tell that work was done on the property. I have been very happy with them.
