Vision Flooring was referred to me from a close friend. I called and left a message and they called me back within a few hours and we had a date and time set for an estimate. They arrived right on time and spent the time needed to give an accurate and appropriate estimate. They were incredibly helpful during the process of buying materials (my wife and I bought the materials on our own). There was about 3-4 weeks between the estimate and the installation - Vision Flooring was super helpful during this time and spent the time on the phone and email to help me make sure I was purchasing the right products. Once we had the materials purchased I set a date and time with Vision Flooring to do the work. They were going to install wood laminate in the upstairs of the house as well as the stairs and vinyl in the kitchen and foyer.
Vision arrived right on time the day of the job and began work immediately. We weren't able to move some of the bigger furniture but Vision did it for us. They removed the carpet and padding and base boards and everything else they needed to do and then began laying the laminate and then the vinyl. I worked outside of the house and each day I came home there was no mess, no dust, etc. Very professional through and through.
They did the job in the timing they originally quoted. The house looks absolutely amazing after the job was done and we are so happy! The work is truly professional and I will be calling them again when we need more work done!

We had a very pleasant experience with Vision Flooring, from the time of the estimate to the completion of the job. It was very easy to work with Alex, he was friendly, professional, and clean. He always arrived on time and the job started the day Alex said it would start. Alex cleaned up daily and kept his tools neatly out of our way as we stayed in the house first couple of days of the project. The repair work he did on our existing oak floor was superb. We could tell Alex is a perfectionist and takes high pride in his work. Alex was very knowledgeable about the floors he explained every step of the project. The sanding went smoothly and very clean. Alex had every tool possible to do the job right. We did not expect our floors would look this good as they were harshly beat up. After everything was complete Alex gave us cleaning instructions and went over them with us to make sure we understand. He also went over time frame when we can bring in our furniture back and how long we need to keep our area rug off the floors. We will absolutely recommend Vision Flooring to anyone who needs their floors done.

Mr. Babko came to survey and estimate the job; then he lost my phone number and did not show up on the day specified. When I phoned, he answered and said that he could not find my phone number. He had planned to work on Mon, Tues, and Wed; instead he finished the work on Tuesday and Wednesday. They worked a very long day on Tuesday. The work was well done and at a reasonable price. He said that he would leave me a page of instructions on how to take care of a new floor; he did not. Many days later he called to say that he had been out of the instructions and that he would leave me a copy on my porch. To date (March 10th) he has not done so. I can say that the work was well and conscientiously done and that the price was reasonable, but that dealing with Alex was a bit awkward. Additionally on his original statement of price, there was no telephone number or the name of the firm. And when I asked for a receipt, he just said that he had already listed the price. Not very businesslike at all. I am ambiguous as to whether I would use him again.

Overall, the installation went very smooth. Vision was out promptly when the floors were ready to cover. They completed the first floor within a day and were back within the next few days to finish the lower floor (it took the Gypcrete a little longer to dry). Vision did an excellent job of making sure that the floor started straight and did a good job of making sure the seams looked good. They also cleaned up very well which I appreciate in a contractor. I would definitely recommend Vision for flooring install.
