Mikhail was asked to perform exceptional customer service and communication from our first contact because I was arranging installation of hardwood floors from the east coast, for my home in Everett, WA.  My renters had just moved out and I was preparing to move cross country but wished to upgrade our home to rustic red oak floors.  From the first call, I felt comfortable and was impressed with the quality of work on the website. 

His prices were competitive and the craftsmanship was second to none.  The floors turned out flawless and were a welcomed surprise when I arrived, well after the work was completed.  Based on the flooring, I’m continuing to work with him on future house projects, to include installing a large custom exterior window.  I would recommend State of the Art Installation to anyone looking to upgrade their floors.    

Install was professional, communication was clear, and a pleasure working with the crew. They did a good job on the floors, maybe a little bit of glue that needed cleanup but not so much as to be a problem. The baseboards went in better than I thought they would.

I selected State of the Art Installation based on the reviews I read on Angie's list.   I am really glad I did.  Not only was the price good but I really appreciate the fact that they actually showed up on time every time and Mikhail, the owner, was always very quick to get back to me.   They were very professional and got the flooring installed in one day.    It looks so good!  One team did the bamboo floors and on a different day another team came in to do the carpet on the stairs.  I like the fact that each team had their specialty.   I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

State of the Art was impressive from the start.  Mikhail appeared to be the most knowledgeable when we were discussing the job from the demo, to how the tile could be installed to make a narrow room appear a little larger.  All of the estimators we had come to the house made mention of how busy they were, and how far out a job would need to be scheduled.  Some failed to return phone calls, or took weeks to get an estimate to me.  Some simply disappeared after meeting with me.  Not Mikhail.  He didn't make me feel like I was one of a hundred other customers he had on his agenda.  I felt like my business was important to him, even when they too had a lot of other jobs in the works. 
When the job got started, his team had to work very hard to remove decades old vinyl and ancient carpet "padding" in the demo process, but they managed to somehow keep our house clean and livable.  The tile installers were perfectionists.  They did a beautiful job.  Every day, even months after the job was completed, we still marvel at how much we love our floor.  The price was also reasonable, and billing and payment were handled professionally.  State of the Art Installation will be our first choice for any flooring/tile work we need to have done in the future.

Team showed up on time (per arrangment with Dennis) and performed installation in 1 day of about 360 SQFT of engineered hardwood on two floors. They worked efficiently, cleanly and were very polite. They also did very nice detail finish work with the quarter round.  The even saved me a whole box of wood and transition material that i was able to return to LL and obtain credit for. 
I also recommended them to a friend who had 550SQ of red oak to install. he was very happy with the work, the finish work and detail on the stair trim and the speed at which the work was done.
would not hesitate to book them again! I may proceed on a bathroom tile install in the future with them

.II had been looking at wood/laminate flooring for a couple of years.  I finally decided on a laminate floor that Lumber Liquidators was running a special price.  They referred me to Mikhail Pasko of State of the Art.  We made an appointment and he was on time.  I showed him what I wanted to have done.  He took measurements and sent me the estimate that evening so I could go back to Lumber Liquidators the next day and order  the supplies before the sale ended. We also discussed my fireplace surround and what materials I would need for that job as he told me he also does tile, marble and granite work.
After I ordered the flooring, the guys at Lumber Liquidators told me Mikhail was the best and most accurate.  Mikhail and his finish carpenter Leo delivered the flooring, placing inside my home to condition to my environment before installing.  I purchased my marble tile from Home Depot.  Mikhail made sure that I had the right amount for the job, and explained to me the next steps.  We also agreed on the next appointment to start the installation.
Leo and his assistant arrived on 8/24/12 to start the demolition of my carpet and vinyl flooring.  They quick, efficient, and clean.  Making sure at the end of each day they picked up their equipment and swept and vacuumed my floors.  It two days of demo and two days of installation.  While all of this was going on, Andrew came over to do the marble surround for fireplace.  Mikhail wanted the marble tiles to be close together so that it would look like one piece. Andrew did a beautiful job.  
When Leo finished the flooring the baseboard installation it looked spectacular.  I gave him a big hug.  Leo just tickled me because while he was working he would hum and sing.
Mikhail was always stopping by during the installation to make sure everything was going smoothly and I was satisfied with the finished product.  Mikhail and his team did a terrific job and I could not  be happier with the finished product.

We could not be happier with the quality of work provided by State of the Art.  Mikhail was great to work with.  We appreciated his professionalism and his very competitive bid.  His installers did an absolutely perfect job and paid attention to detail.  They came on the exact days we had scheduled and completed the work in a timely manner.  We were billed the exact amount of the original bid given to us, and not a penny more.  We absolutely love our new flooring, and we have asked them to come back to install a tile backsplash for our kitchen.

Update:  Alex from State of the Art did our backsplash last week, and it could not have been more perfectly installed.  The tile we selected was an unusual shape, making it difficult to match up going around corners.  Alex took the time to plan out how it would look and ask us our preferences for how we wanted it installed.  It looks gorgeous.

A week after we ordered our new flooring, Dennis came out to measure the floor and gave us an estimate.He said he can be here next week and it shouldn't take more than a 1/2 day.Being skeptical of the time estimate, I allocated 2 days based on past experience with other contractors.I WAS WRONG.  Sergei showed up at noon on Friday and was done by 4pm, cut, sealed and installed.  We were so impressed, we called on Saturday to have him come back to do the baseboards for the house.He was back on Monday and cut, caulked, and installed all the baseboards in the entire house in a day.In addition to that, he helped me finish up some last little tasks I needed to do, install an overhead microwave, replace a flow valve in the toilet, fix some minor plumbing issues, cap off an outlet.  Not only did he perform all of those tasks, he did so with a smile and friendly personality.  The cleanup and the whole process had a level of professionalism I wish EVERY contractor had.We are trying to get our house ready to sell and without them, we would not have made our deadline.Very grateful and impressed.  Joined Angie's List to write this review as a member, yes, they are that good.

We were referred to State of the Art Installation by the Lumber Liquidators in Bellevue that we bought the flooring (Bellawood Brazillian Cherry) from. They called & made an appointment, and Mikhail came out to the house when scheduled, did a detailed measurement, told us exactly what components (how much flooring etc. we needed to buy) etc.

He even arranged for his people to pick up our order at Lumber Liquidators, saving us the delivery fee!

When the day came to install, the demo crew showed up when expected, and got to work right away - the installation crew appeared a couple of hours later - by then, the demo crew had removed enough old carpet etc. for the installers to start. They quickly set up shop (because of the weather they had to put up a tent outside for their saws, etc.) and began the installation. I was really impressed with their work - the right word to use is "craftsmen", because "installer" just doesn't describe the quality & care with which the work was done.

They were finished in just a couple of days, and we had a beautiful floor and stairway and new baseboards throughout. My wife and I are very pleased.
