Description of Work: An older gentlman showed up to take a look at a few relatively small electrical projects I needed taken care of around my house. As we walked around the house and I described what I wanted done his responses lead me to believe that I was asking, or expecting, way too much. He jotted down my punch list of 6 projects and said it would likely take 4-5 days to get it all done. He let me know that he'd e-mail me the quote. Three weeks later, still not quote. I have recieved 2 other quotes by reputable electricians who both said the work could easily be done in one day and that the punch list was completly do-able.

 + -1 moreThe electrician arrived promptly and was able quickly troubleshoot and repair multiple residential electrical issues. He worked us in the very same day of the call, which wasn't urgent but it was also a Friday so it was it great not to have to wait for service over a three day weekend. The cost was reasonable. The service person, (Ray?) was courteous, professional and efficient. Great customer service! Overall, this company did a wonderful job. We're very, very pleased.
Description of Work: Repaired multiple dead GFCI circuits and identified and repaired incorrectly wired, three-way switches.

 + -1 moreIt took less than an hour and with no trouble. He showed me the thermostat and how to use it. The next door neighbor stopped in and stole Roy away for a minute to get him to look at one of their heaters. Roy was great.
Description of Work: I needed 3 floor heaters replaced in a 2 bedroom condo remodel. I called Roy in a panic about getting new heaters and he ordered them in record time. Roy came out and the place was so busy with painters that he said no trouble coming back whenever I needed him. He returned in a week right on time with the floor heaters and also 3 thermostats. He has replaced our condo heaters over the years as he is the one that knows them! He also does electrical work for the neighboring condo associations.

 + 1 moreI called 3 electricians to get bids for the work I wanted done. Roy was very prompt in putting together a quote but he did say that he was pretty busy with other jobs. If I didn't mind him working on my project in between his other jobs he could squeeze it in. I had no problem with that approach and he was the low bidder, so that's what I agreed to. I think Sinder Electric has just one electrician for residential work, Roy. He also works on their commercial jobs too. Overall, it took him several trips over several weeks to get all of the items on my list done. I have to say, it was well worth it. Roy, who by the way is a really nice guy, did everything on the list and did them all well. Some of my project items posed some interesting challenges that required revising the plan, but he took care of all of it. The quality of the finished product in all cases was top notch. I would recommend Roy at Sinder to anyone. He's great! The rates were very reasonable too.
Description of Work: I had a long list miscellaneous projects in my 10 year old house: Replace 2 chandeliers, install ceiling fan and wire it to a wall switch, install several light fixtures, install new electrical circuit for an office, add additional outlets, install a track lighting system, install pendant lights over kitchen island, and put kitchen overhead lights on a dimmer.

 + -1 moreI have had Sinder Electric do electrical work at my home occasionally for more than 10 years. ''Roy'' is, I believe, their one electrician. He shows up on-time, works hard, and I have always been very satisfied with his work and with the prices that Sinder Electric has charged me for it.
Description of Work: Installed to new exterior outlets on 1928 home. Placed outlets next to windows on second floor, to provide power to future powered exterior blinds. Work required considerable effort to gain access to the necessary locations in the attic of the home. Also completed some comparatively smaller jobs.
